Have you ever come across a Japanese character that you thought looked cool and wanted to know its meaning? Ever watch an interesting video clip in Japanese without subs and wondered what was being said? Or ever try to sign up for a Japanese site and not know what they were asking you?
Well, I'm here to help solve some of your troubles! Just go ahead and request something here and I'll translate it asap for you and keep an archive of all translated things in the OP.
However, as I don't have all the free time in the world, here are some rules:
Rules:
1) Video clips cannot surpass two minutes in length unless a good portion of it does not consist of dialogue. A good portion will be left up to my judgment when I see it. I will not be encoding subtitles straight into any video clips. Warning: I sometimes may not be able to make out what they say (Japanese can talk very fast and slur their words). In these situations I may have to ask a friend of mine for help, so it may end up taking longer than usual.
2) I am not very good at reading kanji characters, but it's easy enough for me to look them up in a dictionary if I don't know their meaning. Even so, it may take a bit of time, so keep things no longer than a moderate paragraph. Now, if it's a manga piece you want translated, I can perhaps do one page. Quality of the manga scan must be good though, or else I may not be able to make out the characters.
3) If you want me to help you navigate or sign up for a site, post the link and tell me what exactly it is you need.
4) Songs are okay, as long as you can provide me with the original lyrics in Japanese and a link to the song itself. Songs generally take longer as they can be quite complicated (in fact, I am prone to making mistakes in regards to Japanese songs because they're so darn vague) so keep that in mind. I'll let you know if I feel the song is too complicated for me.
5) If you MUST have something translated that is longer than the specified lengths, we can do it piece by piece. I can do one part one week, then the next part next week (or sooner if there is not much else to be done).
6) I am not very good when it comes to jargon (scientific, political, whathaveyou), so keep that in mind. Although, with time, I could potentially look it up for you. Gaming lingo, however, is out of my hands unless I actually play the game (so this basically only means StarCraft, League of Legends, and DotA/HoN, games which don't really have a strong Japanese following anyway).
7) Poetry and ancient Japanese is a nono for me, along with any dialect outside of the Tokyo/Kansai/Osaka dialects. I can't understand that stuff for the life of me. =P However, if there is someone who would like to take on this portion of translations, let me know, as it would be much appreciated. ^^
8) If you want me to translate something from English to Japanese, I can do so, but it will be limited to conversational stuff that cannot be longer than a moderate paragraph (about five sentences).
9) One request per person per week up to the maximum amount. This means that if you have a video clip that's one minute long, you can request to have another one that's one minute long translated within the same week. If you want a full two-minute clip translated, you must wait until a week passes before you can make your next request. I'll send you a PM after I am done with your request so that you don't have to check up on this thread every day. ^^
Other Thoughts:
I don't know how busy I may be at any given time, so please give me your patience and understanding. It can take an hour or upwards of a week depending on length and my schedule. Everything will be on a first-come first-served basis, regardless of length. I feel this is more fair for all.
I am doing this to make use of whatever free time I have while at home and be productive. I am not a native Japanese speaker; however, my comprehension is almost fluent, though my literacy is quite bad. That, however, can be solved with a dictionary! I have experience in fansubbing and translating songs (and no, not for some half-assed speed subbers) so I am not completely new at this. Even so, I am prone to mistakes, so any help and corrections from fluent speakers are welcomed.
And I apologize beforehand, as time constraints will not allow me to do anything much longer in length than what I've initially stated. I ask for your understanding on this part.
Feel free to ask any questions. ^^ Or go ahead and post a request. =)

Kira Kira
One day, I leave the door wide open with my careless feelings.
I get the idea of imitating something some day.
Today, so that we can stay higher than anyone else,
Let's go! Climb on board with your guitar. Now let's journey!
We don't need anything.
Because, well...
I wonder what is waiting for us
At the end of this path that stretches endlessly.
Together with you as you play aloud, on the wave of your melody,
We sway, we're shaken, we unite.
Beneath the purple sky, I hold you in my arms.
I'm sure you'd understand if we proceeded
To the end of this journey.

There are a lot of ways to say that phrase. I'm guessing you mean something like, "Leave me alone right now!" I'll give you some examples.
Rude: 今どっか行け! = ima dokka ike! = Literally, "Go somewhere right now!"
or 今あっち行け! = ima acchi ike! = Literally, "Go over there right now!"
or 今ほっとけ! = ima hottoke! = Literally, "Leave me alone right now!"
Less rude: 今どこか行きなさいよ! = ima doko ka ikinasai yo! = Literally, "Go somewhere right now!"
or 今あっちへ行きなさいよ! = ima acchi he ikinasai yo! = Literally, "Go over there right now!"
or 今ほっときなさいよ! = ima hottokinasai yo! = Literally, "Leave me alone right now!"
Polite: 今は一人にさせてくださいよ! = ima wa hitori ni sasete kudasai yo! = Literally, "Please let me be alone right now."
or 今はほっといてくださいよ! = ima wa hottoite kudasai yo! = Literally, "Please leave me alone right now."
