No, he told it awhile ago... I can't remember when. Daily #100, he talked about how he loved Starcraft so much that he brought it up with his love interests and girlfriends.

Does he still upload to blip or is their like a new archive on Justin.tv?

The recent "upset" of Mvp by July also seemed to completely catch casters Tasteless and Artosis completely by surprise, particularly as their first game playe dout. At the time I was also surprised by July's position after what seemed like taking terrible losses early in the game. After watching the game another dozen times and keeping an eye on tabs, I'm more convinced that this "mid-economy baneling aggression" followed by the transition into mutas really takes advantage of some beautiful timings in terrans "standard" play, and that his losses were bad but never as dire as we all seemed to feel.
Given how surpising the results of this game, and match, seemed to be, I would love to see an analysis of it. During the cast Artosis mentions that July also used that build against Virus (iirc) earlier that morning, so perhaps it would be possible to find a set of games where July uses this build.

He's in Berlin right now?? GODDAMN IT I LEFT BERLIN YESTERDAY...
Anybody know his other stops in Germany? I'd really love to meet the man...
I study near Frankfurt but I'm on vacation until the 9th of March
I was thinking about going to the place where IEM is but to buy a train ticket and entrance fee... It'd be a good 120 Euros for 1 day and then more to stay in a hotel QQ

Oh thx, it seems strange that such a big tournament (even with koreans if I am not mistaken) is not features on the tournament section of the site

Very interesting daily today with mass marines.
|
It's too bad you can't have a question session with the prerecorded daily. While the analysis of the mass marine style was great, as you'd expect, there wasn't any opportunity to address the protoss side of things, and how to react to a situation like this. In particular, the game ended 1/1 marines vs. 0/0/0 protoss units. Upgrades, armor especially, would have been a great way for the zealots to do better against mass marine and the later marine ghost. And P definitely had the money for it, considering when the early battle hit, he had over 1000 minerals banked, which was a big reason he took so much damage and was left with an economic disadvantage he could never recover from due to the heavy aggression.
|
The last daily make me quite enthousiastic about the game but... I don't really think protoss and zerg can do the same type of strat "don't do a blob of units, be active, etc " like rainbow did... :/
