Hacks exist, either make a blog and hope it will not be closed or don't post something that has nothing to do with StarCraft 2 besides your friend being a hacker. Or post on the TL Hacker DB. |
Hey TL.
okay, do not really know how to tell this.
I was with a friend, we went home to him for collecting money. When we come home to him so he asks me to wait in his room. he was going to talk to his parents. I went to the computer and see that StarCraft 2 is open and logged on his account. I start a replay of a recently played 1v1, to my surprising to see minimap a bit weird, and it's a tab that shows what the opponent does and have.
I then do so i only see from my friends cam.
he can see through the fog of war.
I start a custom game to see what's going on...
my friend has maphack.
OUR BELOVED GAME IS DESTROYED BY IDIOTS LIKE MY "FRIEND".
So i can now confirm, that there is maphack for SC2, so when someone does something weird on ladder, he might just have maphack.

do a custom 1v1 with him and write "weenar's dunt hax!" in pylons it will hit him right in the heart <:O

maphack has existed since beta. Old news.

Yeah maphacks are not extremely rare, but are reported and then the maphacker has to buy a new account, so they can be weeded out quickly.

Hacking will always exist.
The only thing you can do is reporting these players when you encounter them. Then it's up to blizzard to make their move, and ban or sue them.
