and for the couple of early posters, no 12min/mile isn't walking speed and no you can't easily walk a mile in under 10 minutes. 12mm is a fairly slow/relaxing jog (for a lot of people). but it's still significantly faster than walking.

I'm taller but way skinnier than the average American, as well as less fit (in terms of muscle mass, although my mile is easily <10 minutes)

The average gym newbie will have a hard time finishing their 135 set, in my experience.

Yeah if you cant do a light jog(power walk?) for a mile i doubt you can bp 180. But that 12 minute stat is really sad. I pulled <10min miles in middle school with asthma and not being very athletic or in good shape back then. And 52 is supposedly the "fit" heart rate. That seems pretty damn low though. Ironically, the average man probably thinks he's above average compared to these stats ^_^

Howerver to run a mile in 12 minutes you need to be moving at: 1.609km/0.2hours Which is just a little above 8km/h. According to wikipedia( walking speed is aprroximatly 4.5km/h for older individuals, and 5.5km/h for younger ones, which voids one of the points mentioned above(Source) mentioned above. As for benchpressing, it's hard to say how much the average person can benchpress. I'm only 16, but looking at my class in advancaed weight training, I'd say the average guy could benchpress 75 pounds. Sure you had the ones that did 175-195, but then some that had trouble doing several reps with the bar. I myself can do a set of 6 at 115, and I go to the gym occasionally, So 135 is possible, however I would have thought it would be lower. And for penis size, I always thought like average was 6-6.5. I guess that's what you get when 90% of guys lie about penis size and crap. No other really suprising facts on there, interesting to see though. Edit: Actually one that kinda suprises me, is the one about how many percent of men think they are physically fit. I think that deep inside, a person knows they are fat/overweight, and they would want to lose some weight, howver might not be something they want to say maybe in such a thing like a survey, or any other method of how there results were gathered. Also only 13% of the men population fit... I'm very curious as how they base these things on. Because I mean, even if you have some body fat, but you can run for a good dozen minutes, and you can be playing a sport like basketball/badminton for a couple hours in & out with friends would make you fit. If that was true however I'd expect the number to be much greater, so that is a pretty insignificant statastic in my eyes.
