CARRIERS I feel like protoss could take almost half of the map, whereas a terran would be stretched thin after 3.

It depends on the spawn locations a lot imo. If it's cross positions, protoss can do a fist pump because it will take terran months to reach any of your bases. But if it's horizontal spawns the push through the 3rd with turret cover will be very hard to deal with. Especially if protoss is bottom left or top right. I also expect it to be T>Z because the 3rd has gas and a small choke for easy defense, and the minerals are all up against the wall and not overly vulnerable to harass. It's a fairly standard map in other respects.

If the terran pushes that way, they'll have a nightmare breaking across the second bridge, and it'll be difficult to take a third, much less a fourth, while protoss ought to have map control over the whole opposite side of the map. Horizontal spawns probably benefits carrier play thanks to the ridges and limited goliath maneuverability, while arbiter play seems to be stronger at cross positions because of the distance.

Basic architecture: taking another natural is normal, and then the cardinal expansion should be taken with some ease instead of relying on the main that natural attaches to. The bridges to the thirds, which are very attractive in one, maybe two directions, make those expansions very defensible as the game progresses. Those narrow bridges can be easily exploited by all races. I think that it's an interesting map. I really like how the cardinal expansions create these routes around the normal attention outside the natural. To defend them, they force you to defend your third, but you have to defend it in the middle of the map. That's a very interesting concept. I'm really looking forward to seeing how games progress on this map. TvZ should be the Terran taking control of the center in somewhat usual pace (the pseudo-chokes to the windmill playing into the equations), and the Zerg defending bases on one side somewhat normally, though the opportunity to control the middle expansion on a side, once it's been taken, is to be considered. PvT should be very interesting. I anticipate some difficulty in scouting and repulsing drops considering the non-land regions around both the natural and main. I hope to see some amazing reavers here. I think that the center of the map is nice for tanks, but maps recently seem to be pushing close high grounds, which don't always favor the ensconced line. I guess that carries over to PvZ as well, though it is something of a mix of my assessments of the matchups. I think harass against Zerg will be a constant threat on this map. I also think that Zergs will be able to take a side of the map with some ease. These are my rough ideas about the map. I don't want to see other people saying Terran favored for no reason. If you think that it is Terran favored, please say why you think that. I'm not saying my ideas are right, or that it isn't a T map, I just would rather hear ideas than 'bah, T map'.
