1) Do NOT promote your own stream in this thread. You may create a separate thread to do so. 2) Do NOT post in this thread to request a streaming site / channel change.

Yes we make exceptions to the 3 month rule, but if you're asking about it then you're not qualified to get an exception. Don't worry about what you have to do to get featured, we feature good consistent quality streamers, no one has ever gotten featured by campaigning for it.
And finally, stop PMing me about your stream changes.
That's all fine and good, but I posted with an issue stating that my stream wasn't showing up on the list at all. I've read over the first page again, and that's not addressed.

Which list? There's two lists: The one on the right shows all of them after you click 'Show X non-featured'. The one on the StarCraft 2 page shows the top streams.

Does anyone have a guide on streaming? I did the search button about that one old thread for BW but idk how I'm going to stream SC2 cause apparently you can't stream the same way for SC2...

Procaster. Done.
Unless you want to do Ustream.

Three months, ugh. I still have another two to go; that's a long time! I'm sure I'll find some loophole, I have a knack for impressing people with my good behaviour ;D

Sorry about the mistake.

If we don't stream for 2 weeks, and our stream becomes inactive, what is the process that we can undergo to get our stream active again on TL? I stopped streaming for December because of exams and didn't realize that the policy had changed. Now that I have graduated I intend on streaming almost every day, but my stream is currently inactive. What should I do?

My stream also doesn't show up, but after reading the post on the first page I think its because we were inactive for 2 weeks? Seems that they just remove your stream from all of the lists when it goes inactive.

Just stream again and it will become active.

Either. Both.

Ah I see the problem now, it's called "The Legacy Observer" (which is a different stream now), I was looking for this user name.

Don't see how that's a problem - that's the name you requested when you started streaming. I deleted it.

Well, it's the name for SCLegacy's official stream, back when we got it we were just going to use this account to activate the notification on here, but then they decided to use a different TL account for it. I don't know.

Hello,
my stream was disabled because of the new streaming rules on TL.net (you must have registered at least 3 month).
Okay, I registrered my account on TL.net at 26th of September 2010 and my stream my request to listen my stream was postet in the apply-thread at 29th of September 2010 (http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=145584¤tpage=25). It was disabled and i read the rules and wait until my stream would be reactivated. I read that the process will be automatically but until now my stream is disabled. I've no idea why it wasn't reactivated. I've been a member on TL.net more than 3 months.
Can somebody prove it? =)

Disabled streams are usually because of: a) GomTV restreams b) You setting it to disabled yourself.
Streams have never been disabled because of the 3 month rule.
|
Well, i've never made an restream of the GSL and i've never disabled it on my own. My Stream is disabled since the beginning of the december. What was the reason? And can you reactivate it please?
I am a little bit confused. I am streaming only SC2 Events on the EU-Servers like the CraftCup or other german SC2-Events. In a few hours (23:15 UTC) starts the CraftCup New Year Cup and i am one of the official streamer (again) of this event.
|
It's possible you disabled it yourself due to a bug that was present a few months ago. I've re-enabled it for now.
There is also a new feature for streamers, you can set an option in your streaming control panel to have TL detect your stream status. If you're too lazy to mark your stream online and offline manually, this will help. If you haven't been online in four weeks, this feature will turn itself off to save resources.
