Network Card won't do you any good what so ever. There is no increase in speed or performance or ping at all. It is just a waste of money.
Also, the ram you are buying is totally a cost sink. You don't need high performance ram for i7 rigs because about the max you will ever use is 1666, if that, when overclocking. Even when i have my 920 oc'ed to 4.3ghz, I still only use around 1333mhz on my ram. If i were to change dividers, it would be something like double that, and the way you overclock, you want the ram to be about the same speed as the QPI (or a ratio atleast. been a while since i overclocked, my i7)
Also, you can just as easily get a lower-end processor and oc it to those speeds with out a volt increase. My 920, when run at 3.33ghz and a buffed QPI @ 6.4, is the same performance as that.
I would really hate to see the extra money for such little gain be put into what its put into right now, instead, perhaps take that bit and put it towards a prize pool or something.
But, if you've gotten it all already, glhf with your new rig.

Ok, looking to do a test broadcast On Saturday 18th December. I will be casting a replay-pack provided to me by SC2CL the well-known German SC2 Clan League.
The time will be 19:00 GMT/14:00 EST/11:00 PST/20:00 CEST on http://tinyurl.com/shoutcraft2
Pending a successful broadcast (which I certainly hope I can now do), I'll announce the regular schedule for resumed shows shortly afterwards. If all goes to plan, I will cast in 480p live and VoD to Youtube in 720p.

Well it's because I had to change to Justin.tv at the last minute so wasn't able to switch it over time.
No biggy, it was a rusty cast with many mistakes and people didn't miss much. It did however prove that my comp does exactly what I want it to do, so that's great.

Dimaga vs Fenix, BO5, guest-commentating with GLHF.tv and Scan
Game 1 Game 2 Game 3 Game 4 Game 5
Apologies for the random, momentary blur in some of these videos, Youtube was throwing an absolute hissy-fit yesterday and screwed up the processing on a couple of them. It's not major, but it is annoying.
Also, I have a new toy

very nice lol'd at game 5 that was epic!

Ok, so I'm about ready to bring back the first of the two old weekly shows.
SHOUTcraft EU
A 3-4 hour presentation every Wednesday at 19:00 GMT/20:00 CET/14:00 EST/11:00 PST. Featuring best of 3, best of 5 and the SHOUTcraft all-comers King of the Hill. Also intend to include sponsored best of 7 showmatches in as many episodes as possible, where select players can have a shot at winning a cash prize. Speaking to various sponsors about that.
If you are interested in playing
I'm looking for Diamond-league 1v1 players to participate. Not really fussed as to how low or high you are, I tend to cast a variety of skill levels. The King of the Hill format which kicks off after the initial arranged matches, tends to rapidly figure out who's good and who isn't.
If you want to be part of regular, arranged BO3/5 matchs
Please send an email to shoutcraft@cynicalbrit.com - giving basic details about who you are and your availability. You can use the following template.
Real name Starcraft Username Main Race Current ELO ranking Availability/preferred play times
If you want to just drop in and have a shot in the King of the Hill format
Add me via Real.ID - shoutcraft@cynicalbrit.com - Please note if you're not interested, please don't add me via this address. I will regularly purge non-combatants since there is a limit on how many can be on this list at any given time. King of the Hill is fairly spontaneous thing, I will attempt to match players up based on their ELO, to ensure competitive and exciting matches.
If you want to participate in a sponsored showmatch
Obviously these are going to be fairly limited in terms of who can participate. The sponsors are looking for people who can bring in good viewer numbers. If you think you can, are a fairly well-known/respected player and want a chance at earning some quick cash, drop an email to shoutcraft@cynicalbrit.com and let me know. Previous examples of showmatches include rANDY vs Pureball, sponsored by Aquatuning, where 1 player walked away with £100 ($160) for 90 minutes of play, plus their matches got approximately 300,000 views on Youtube.
The dream of HD VoDing every live match has finally come true
Every game played on this stream (unless it was utter garbage and not worth showing, which is very rare), will go up on Youtube as a 720p VoD. I'll be FRAPsing as I stream, so if you're an up-and-comer in the diamond leagues who wants their game cast and to start making their mark, SHOUTcraft is an ideal place to get a leg up.
Casting-style
Games will be solo-cast by me. It will be in my usual, zero-jargon, high-energy style, aimed firmly at newer/non-players. Appeal to higher-end spectators interested in analysis and strategy will be limited at best. I will avoid analysis whenever possible because I'm awful at it.
Venue
Well in theory, it should be on Own3d.tv, but there have been problems with that recently. For the time-being, it will be hosted on http://tinyurl.com/shoutcraft3 - a Justin.tv channel. It is a featured stream, available on the Teamliquid frontpage, so you won't have to worry about missing it. My old Ustream is defunct until Xsplit get a major bug fixed which causes their client to disconnect from Ustream at random.
Quality
Stream will be in fairly high-bitrate 480p, as much as my connection can handle without lagging the players. VoD quality will be in 2-pass h.264 720p on Youtube. Game settings are Ultra across the board.
I think that about covers it, looking forward to getting this going again.

Sounds great, also I would personally update the first post with this info too
