I dont know if they contacted TLO and heard he would not come back to Korea, or how this was decided. This is pretty much all the info we have at the moment.
PS: Sry for not having all the TLPD links in that OP, I just used the auto-command. PPS: Did a mod just rund the whole thing through TLPD again? I DID remove the random icon from "into" and all that jazz, manually.

His points should be enough to be in code A so there should be a different reason he's not on the list.

I mostly want to know why they changed Code A from 33-96 to 33-64.
Anyone who has paid attention to TLO would have known he wasn't going to be back in Korea anytime soon and therefore would not be taking part in GSL.

This^. Since it essentially removed Artosis, Cella and TorcH from the running of Code A

ret should have an easy time

I'd guess he just declined it. Given the health reason he's hinted at for why he went back to Germany, I wouldn't expect him to head back to Korea for it.
But, now we get to cheer on Ret. Go Ret!

what about the others who are not in this list (HuK, Haypro, etc.)? how will they be able to move up? it would be good to have a few wild cards in there, with a special tournament where for example the top 4 would be awarded code A.

There was, at least previously, listed they were going to do some Ladder-based Tournament, winners there would be battling to take out some Code A players. Same thing will happen with Code A & Code S.
But, as with a lot of this right now, details are a tad sketchy.

Sangho and Guinea Pig already having qualified makes me a happy Protoss. And I have a strong feeling that Ret will easily make top 12 in that field.
|
a lot of decent players - I think Ret has a really good shot, especially if it is group play and not single elimination
