So don't pick 1-pointers? The idea is to pick players who play and win, not to try to skim team win points from players who don't play. If you want to afford Flash, Bisu, and Jaedong, for example, you're going to have to make some sacrifices. They're only one point for a reason.

I don't know....its quite a large sacrifice if you ask me,but considering my team my 1 pointers will probably get played a lot next round. if you'd like to see my team the link is in my signature.

But well, you know the rules, just pick players you think make most sense within those rules. I don't think it's a bad change at all, less favor for sitting on the bench seems good.

I dunno, I personally think it makes it more like a fantasy individual league with a proleague team straddled on, because now sitting on the bench is worth 0. I can see Paralyze, Hyuk, hyvaa, Canata, anyppi... etc getting some but little playtime. 1-pointers are more throwaway than last season, where you actually had to pick them based on both playtime and their associated team.

Think it through, there's still significant risk and reward with one-pointers: one-pointers that do get playtime and lose are going to lose you points. Sitting on the bench is worth 0, but being sent out is possibly worth -1. There are other reasons as well: every round I can remember, several fantasy owners in or near the top ten have been those who "all-in" on the most successful team that round. Getting rid of team wins mitigates that effect somewhat. Lastly, a winning player on a weaker team shouldn't be able to end up being worth less than a player who doesn't play at all. Just my opinion.

I see, that certainly makes sense. But a winning player on a weak team is still 4/day, while a losing player on a strong team + bonus points is still 1/day. I also think you can mitigate the "all-in" on strongest teams by only giving 1 bonus point per team (e.g. I have Sun and Paralyze, they both bench, SKT wins, I only get +1 bonus point between the two of them); this also maintains the need to consider team performance when selecting 1-pointers and actually further discourages all-inning. But that's just theory.

Also, fanboyism aside, I don't see any reason why one would need or even want to consider team performance when picking individual players -- the time to consider team performance is when you're picking your team.
