Q. Were you confident that you would advance? A. The bracket was better than I expected it to be. I thought it was good that I played against a foreigner in the last match too. Racist a-hole. This guy is gonna be hated by the foreign scene forever, now. Lol double standards. IdrA is reportedly insulting a Korean's family, calling one of his opponents Kimchi man, "lol! IdrA already starting with the mindgames!" Little slight at foreigners by Junwi, "Racist asshole!" There's a difference between hating one foreigner (IdrA) because he's a jerk (and rightly so), and lumping all foreigners into a category that he considers to be "easy to play" without even knowing them. I'm pretty sure that's textbook discrimination. As far as I'm concerned it's like a black basketball player saying "gee I'm glad I'm defending a white guy!" Even if the sterotype is somewhat true, it's still racist.
A jerk? Did you miss the part where I mentioned that some Korean players reported IdrA also making racist comments on the ladder? And it's not like it's that much of an insult that Junwi said such a thing. Even in the foreign community, many people think that Koreans are a step ahead when it comes to Starcraft. What's wrong with a Korean also having that mindset? Racism is racism, even though what Junwi said wasn't even racism at all because racism implies some belief in INHERENT superiority/inferiority. As far as I know, Junwi did not imply anything of the sort. The reality is that Korea probably has the most active Starcraft community and a culture that most heavily accepts Starcraft as a "legitimate" thing out of any other nation right now, so chances are that a top Korean pro will be better than a top pro from a different nation.
Anyway, still, nice double standards you have there.

Did anyone notice that MVP is a fan of one of the most obscure teams in the MLB? Too awesome! I just hope his performance is better than his team's.

What the fudge is Foxer wearing?

Maka's interview is awesome. That was a ton of translations: thanks for all that work!

Hey! As a long time A's fan I have to....uh...agree with you
and I'm definitely expecting good things from IMmvp, with him being a ladder beast and the last two finalists also

Awesome interviews, thanks canuck.
As a Canadian Kiwikaki fan, Kinzee, you are being offended over nothing. Junwi's comments didn't have a malicious intent, and your choice to interpret them that way is your own issue. Step back and see that you're the only one who seems to be upset about it. If you're going to hate on anyone for being disrespectful, the only person who really fits the bill is Idra.

CanucksJC, thank you very much for the translation, here and for all the other times you did some. You should know, that you are not only contributing to the community, but you make every single nerdy heart happy with the stuff you provide us!
BIG thanks again!

I cannot wait for gsl 3 to Start I just know a zerg is going to win again hehe

+ Show Spoiler +Q. Your goal for this season? A. Someone promised a kiss if I advanced to the round of 4, so I will get there no matter what. That person obviously isn’t a guy by the way. Best answer of all time, I'll be cheering for maka to make it to the round of 4 as long as he doesn't try and snap any foreigner necks along the way.

Hahahaha LittleKid's got some jokes. I'm glad Genius is determined not to become more reserved with his answers. Love that guy.

Not even FBH has this much hate. Good luck Idra! And be careful who bump into in the GSL corridors.

Of course not. FBH beat sAviOr couple of times. That's backing it up. And his celebration is more funny really. Its inherently different bcuz FBH does his thing after he wins. IdrA BMs after he loses, and blames his loss on everything but himself. That sounds like making excuses. Until IdrA can understand that his behavior will not take him very far in the metagame heavy sc2, he will continue to be the second-rate player he is currently.

You're the man! Awesome interviews, glad you translated everything!

lol Clide's pic looks so funny.

Great job translating, Canucks! Your effort shall not go in vain.

LittleKid was talking about a game called Chaos. Anyone know what that is?

Completely agree. I mean I'm sure no one likes to lose, but as an adult shouldn't people have some kind of control over their emotional outbursts?

Little Kid and Sen had great interviews. LOL @ Sen having his return flight ready. I hope he makes it far.
Poor little kid feeling bad about taking out Tester. He mentioned lag possibly causing the issue, sounds like another reason we need LAN.
