Those are some epic, manly jaw-lines. Great to see the Liquid guys qualifying. Now if only TLO was there still... sadface...

Starting in 2011 each GSL will consist of two tournaments. A 32 player S-class tournament and a 64 player A-class tournament. S-class is the top tournament with the most prestige/prize money, so it's very important that people make S-class.

being a "Code S" player guarantees you qualifications for an upcoming league and the ability to compete more without having to advance through preliminaries. you could think of GSLs as the qualifying matches for the upcoming league (not to mention incredibly huge tournaments in themselves).
to be "Code S" - as i understand it - you need to either: reach RO8 in a GSL OR reach RO16 twice. It's based on a point system.
I'm not sure whether you can reach RO16 once and RO32 twice to get "Code S", but i think so?

"Q. Foreigner players haven’t been doing well in GSL."
Hmm? I don't know about them but to me getting to the RO16 is pretty damn good. Also, it's not like there was many foreigner the last 2 season... Obviously there's not gonna be many foreigner in the top if theres only 4-5 good player that actually try to qualify out of the 200 or so players...
