I think Arturo lost $500 to Daigo after Evo this year.
From what i know of the Art/Umehara SF4 money match rivalry they have going, it should look like this unless there has been others i didnt know of (pre evo2k9, there might be one that hasnt seen the light of day.. eg mentioned on the forums or posted a video of)
The "Room 1676 Match" (evo2k9): 1st to 5 for 100$
The "Salty Runback Match" (evo2k10) 1st to 5 for 500$
The "Fullscreen c.HP xx Shinku Hadoken, Revenge Match" 1st to 5 for 1000$ Link is allready been posted!
So far its: Art 100$ - Umehara 1500$
But that still pales in comparison to the utter lunacy of the MvC2 money matches that has been played, here's a short list of the ones i know of.
[5.000$] evo2k6: Duc vs Sanford [10.000$ total] [think the amount might have been in the range of 6.6k with sidebets but im not certain about that] [12.000$] Salty Suite: Sanford vs Team Cali [24.000$ total] <- most recent [13.000$] Fanatiq vs Toan [26.000$ total] [24.000$] Fanatiq vs Toan rematch [48.000$ total]
Oh and incase your wondering, all these money matches are done in cash! so yes that means that both players of the Fanatiq vs Toan rematch had to put down 240 100$ bills on a table, that the winner would take home with him.
well actually in the fantiq vs toan ones, they each only bet a few thousand or something and the rest was filled by bettors in the room with them. Like Rain khan who actually flew fanatiq to vegas to train at his place for a week or something.
Bill, Nightwolf is good as fuck lol. watch some top level games of mk
These guys do a bunch of matchups for MK3
I especially like the 'custom fatality' of this match haha
lmao, that would be so fun to put your own pictures as characters in a game. I wish they showed more of the other characters instead of the hat guy. lol @ ending.

zangief player SSJ George Bush (my roommate) sent Marn's viper and rufus to losers the first round of SSF4 because Marn doesn't even seem to know what a safe jump is, he just kept trying to mash ex messiah kick and thunder knuckle, it was 2-0. I stopped playing sf4 a month or two before super came out and i've switched over to marvel and now guilty gear and tekken 6 as well since season's beatings... so Marn got beat by a guy who's biggest sf4 competition is some scrubs that come over and pick dudley and do thunderbolt.
in the loser bracket rematch after my friend got sent to losers by Cynistar's akuma, he played marn and marn got sagat. during game 3, round 3 my roommate had about 35%ish life left and marn had very little. marn started charging up a focus attack and my roommate tried to input ex green hand and got regular green hand, all of marn's health was grey health at that point but he got the focus crumple into ultra doing enough damage to win the round.
yeah, so basically daigo lost to some guy that doesn't even know what a safejump is.
game is whack, we quit for a reason.
edit: i know this post was pretty out of the blue for something old, i just thought of checking the seasons beatings posts on here because i was curious. that was a great event by the way, i got to play a lot of marvel players that i've only had the chance to play online because they haven't really been to final round. it was also my first fighting game tournament outside of my region and therefore i was a "out of town guy" instead of being in my comfort zone of knowing everybody like at final round or something.
I didn't catch much of anything else. Sako's Rose was pretty good. He used some j.lk tricks I haven't seen most Roses use, and overall his footsies were solid. But he got blown up crouch teching (cr.lp + cr.lk) a few times and missed a few of the cr.lk, cr.mp 1 frame links cancel into EX drill, which got punished. Against Rufus I usually use cr.lp + cr.lk + cr.hp with Rose for crouch tech to also beat some dive kicks, but it's also risky and I dunno really.

Yeah this is definitely a random post. I'd like to add the fact that I saw the stream and remembered when Marn got on the mic after he lost and said that "I have a weakness... I lose to scrubs. I lost to a Zangief. My tournament is over." Dude was so salty, but he made up for it after knocking out Daigo from the tourney.
Speaking of Daigo, there was some talk that he didn't like the noise level coming from spectators who were near him. Because of that, in SCR he's wearing some noise-cancelling headphones while he's playing.
