Yeah, the article also says Jaedong couldn't swim, which is false cos I remember Backho once saying he was good at swimming.

But I do wonder, are there statistics for people drowning in South Korea (and USA)? If there are so many people that cannot swim... in Germany it is pretty hard to NOT learn swimming and of course there are still some that manage to drown. I would like to compare data.

and the American referee said “he needs help,” so he jumped into the pool to try to help him, but apparently this referee’s swimming abilities weren’t great either, and was unable to help him. Its really like Kennigit said, the guy must have been a Warcraft 3 admin.

You'd be surprised at the number of people who don't know how to swim in Taiwan. Last time I went to the beach in Taiwan me and my sister were the only one in the water, and this is an ISLAND about the size of maryland + delaware. There are a lot of Taiwanese fishermen and stuff but they're mostly older, I would be a lot of the younger generation doesn't go outside of the big cities and don't learn how to swim. This event just shows us that Jaedong and Flash are still a step above the competition.

Kal should know better and block his ramp. Of course, no surprise that Flash was able to help Kal hold of the 6 pool. To bad zerglings can't swim.

I'm always a bit surprised to learn just how many people (especially in asia) cannot swim. I've always considered it a very essential skill. I know a guy who has Cerebral Palsy and cannot walk, but he can swim.

I learned to swim when i was 6(?) and its just been natural since then. Really weird to think some people cant do it.

At this time, Flash, who was standing nearby, walked across the water towards Kal. Flash, who had been graced with supernatural powers since a young age, told Kal to embrace him as his lord and savior, and then walked both of them back to the shore, and successfully rescued Kal from his sins and promised him eternal life.
