I really like your work over the last few weeks :D
Just wondering how you do this, and do you do it all yourself?

Looking forward to this. Thanks (:

I do the mixing in Cubase4. It is way overkill for what I do since it is meant for musicians working with raw recordings and I'm dealing with mp3s that are already mastered. I convert the wav output to mp3 with audacity since cubase's mp3 output crashes my computer for some reason.
And yes, I do it all myself.

Going to listen to this tomorrow while I get work done. Much appreciated as always. I've been linking friends to your mixes so hopefully you've been getting some extra hits.

the mixing at the beginning was kinda rough, but it got smoother as it went on. enjoyed the end more.

Any specifics, fredd? Transitions you didn't like, songs just not fitting...? Feedback, technical or content wise, is always appreciated.

the first 2 transitions felt kinda off for me.. and the latter half of the songlist just appealed to my tastes more, i got into it about the time venetian snares came on. don't really have any useful feedback.. haha. looking forward to next week btw!

Whats your rule for general length of a track in the mix? I have trouble gaging a song going on for too long. Again thanks for the inspiration, and the tunes (to play BW to).

No rule... I've used stuff that was under a minute and other stuff over ten. I've let long tracks play all the way and cut short tracks in half. I approach this as a radio show, not a dj set, and like to give as much of the tracks as possible so long as it fits. I generally expect this kind of music to be listened to alone while studying/working/playing games or maybe a small group chilling out. In those kinds of situations I feel that so long as the song is good and you can get good transitions track length doesn't matter that much.
