I was like o_O (Mikado reveals he's Dollars creator) And then 12 happened and I was like O_O (Harima was actually Harima) The first few "vignette" episodes were lengthy in terms of character introduction, but there's a lot of characters so I guess it wasn't too bad Artwork is nice, the grayed/color emphasis on characters was pretty cool. OP is kinda cool, ED is generic but catchy | ||

Geass was ridiculous, and I don't really think the creators really expected the viewers to take it super seriously i.e SUPER SUZAKU and all the outrageous plot twists/devices. It was extremely over the top (like Gurren Lagann, except replace manliness with ridiculousness) and it was, in the end, very entertaining. Nishio Ishin's refusal to write the stories behind Hagihara Shiogi's legendary exploits for either the ningen nor the zaregoto series can be consider a troll though. I mean come on, he is already going to write a book just for Aikawa Jun, might as well as start filling in this too  The conclusion to come to is basically that Nishio Ishin is an ass. | ||

I just saw that hanbun no tsuki ga noboru sora got added onto that post, wtf? I remember the anime was definitely ending happy and none of the truly depressing elements from that series made it out of novels. That said, pretty good list  | ||

Still, I'm surprised people bothered to buy the second season at all. -_- I agree that the HotD manga is better than the anime. It was the bullet time tits that really did it for me. My tolerance for fanservice is pretty high, but that scene was just beyond stupid. The chances of there being a second season are pretty good, I'd say. Assuming, of course, that there's enough source material within a year or two. | ||
