There are different romanizations used for Korean right now, I think "Je" is from the more correct/recent system of romanization. "Je" is also much closer to the actual pronunciation of his name than "Jae" (which is not supposed to be pronounced like Jay but closer to Jeh).
yeah i also noticed that english speakers call him JA(Y) dong, and koreans pronounce it JEH
제 = Jeh.
I guess the whole Jaedong thing started because the man himself used "Jae" in his name tags.

HAHA
they use the Jae romanization for MJY's name, it's definitely the most popular way to romanize 제

English: Lee Jay Don Korean: Ee Jeh Doon(as in moon)
In Korean it's Eeh Jeh Dong... In English it's Lee Jae Dong...

Yea, the players themselves romanized their own names and they probably still think that jae=jeh.

It's not Doon. It's Dong. But you place some emphasis on the 'o'.

Bad English FTW.
but MJY is 마재윤 and LJD is 이제동 재 is pronounced Jaeh 제 is pronounced Jeh
Haha you made me laugh with the Intro Thing. Actually... Jae is indeed the only one who is "evil" in that Opening XD~
And because of the Jae/Je/Jeh whatever thing... Since he is calling himself JAEdong, I'd also continue with Jae Dong and also think Je Dong is weirdo o,O
