In deeper detail, octzerg was known for making a ridiculous amount of lings instead of establishing his economy like standard zergs, but against alot of lesser opponents they couldnt cope with the unorthodox foreign play. Idra faces him 1v1, and about half way through idra makes about 50 firebats and medics and just a-moves him. Oct stayed true to his heavy ling style and just gets aboslutely rolled,even with a bunch of sunkens at his nat. You can imagine how much Idra would dislike such a 'cheesy' player, so humiliating him was on the top of his to=do list. | ||

The problem isn't that. The problem is that you think there is a problem with zerg. That is the real problem. You decide that all-in/cheese should be called all-in/cheese and thus contain some negative implication. That is your problem. If you just play the game it was made, there wouldn't be any problem. Someone going knife only in COD4 complaining that a sniper rifle shoots too fast. Well guess what, dont go knife only. If you complain that the terran has too versatility to be aggresive and still transiition, well then don't fast expand be aggresive to him back. Just because Idra always FEs doesn't mean you have to. Not to mention Idra has pretty damn good micro and he has practiced his timings 12 hours a day. If Idra were to hold off Silver with hatch before pool, it doesn't mean we can. It means he can. | ||
