You've been back on TL for a few days only, and already the douchebag comes out. Jesus.

Seriously though I've actually never seen Geoff fight anyone, and the reason he gives is that every time he's even punched someone, they've gone out cold/gotten broken. So it has to be a pretty big deal for him to get mad enough for him to risk a real, dangerous assault that could not only seriously injure a person, but possibly bring charges against him. I guess that makes sense. I still think it'd be sexy to watch him pwn someone for my honor though. *shrug* What woman doesn't? I'm just one to admit it straight out.

I bet it would make him mad :D Yeah, actually a lot of people do, and I think he kinds likes it. He's proud of the fact that he has the more unique spelling of Geoff/Jeff, and maybe that points out the difference... even if it does somehow sound vaguely dirty.

hey are u still involved in sewing costumes/dresses/stuff? i am very anal about how my clothes fit (cuz im very small) and i have thrown litterally hundreds of dollars at tailor shops. is there a website or forum that teaches you how to alter your own clothes? like a sewingteamliquid.net

On July 05 2010 02:21 gaiyeam wrote: most people on TL are adults what are your opinion of them ? and do you have friends that you tried to explain starcraft to and how did they react ?
Considering how many thousands of users there are on TL, it's hard to say I have any one opinion of them... in general though I would say (probably with a hug "DUH") that I think many people have an online persona that is completely different from the way they act IRL. Geoff is a good example of one who used to be like that... when he had nothing to lose he said what he wanted just to get a reaction, for fun, and now, with the birth and growth of his coaching/casting/etc career, he has had to keep it more professional, and now posts a lot more like he would actually relate to you in person. I'd say.
People usually react with astonishment when I explain to them how big of a deal Starcraft is. It takes them a minute to believe how much pros get paid in Korea, and that, even here in the US, Geoff makes his living playing a "video game."

ummm...I think it's awesome?
lol I don't know there's a lot to say about it but in general I think it's surprising that not more people in the US know about it at this point. I like to think it will get even bigger with the release of SC2 and the rise of e-sports in general.
...I dunno if you want more be more specific.

On July 05 2010 06:02 Lucid90 wrote: Do you two have kids? Do you have any children whatsoever to speak of? Do you plan on having kids?
We don't, but both of us eventually want to have kids after we're married. We actually had a really lengthy talk last night about adoption vs. having biological kids. I've long been mulling over the idea that, yes, I think that pregnancy and giving birth and having a mini-us would be just about the most amazing life experience I can think of... but conversely, if I think of looking into the eyes of a child who has no family and saying: "It's more important to me that my kid has my blood than that you ever have a family, or maybe even a future at all" ... well I start to feel like sacrificing that desire in order to adopt may be an invaluable life experience just the same. I completely understand that most people probably wouldn't be ok with missing out on making their own kid... but for me, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I could love an adopted kid just as much as a biological one. So why contribute to the overpopulation of the world? ...To carry on a bloodline, I know... but aren't family ties more important than blood?
Geoff said he would love to adopt, but has to have at least one of his own - that of course we could talk about it, but it's not something he feels like he could compromise on. I guess I've always thought that, even if I did adopt, somewhere along the line my husband and I would probably get pregnant too. Who knows... maybe I've been playing devil's advocate on this one so long that I'm just being naive. To think of a baby with a little of me and a little of him is a pretty powerful thought.
Either way, 3 I think.

You know, I don't think it's a dumb question at all! I've actually wrestled with it before. Geoff and I did break up at one point, a couple years ago, and I didn't show up much on TL after that for a few reasons. First of all... it's kid of his sanctuary, in a way, and at that point my presence seemed to be pretty painful for him, so I stayed away. It was also fairly hard for me, running into him (so to speak) in the forums, so I bet there was an ounce of self-preservation there too. I'm pretty invested in the e-sports world, but without Geoff, ...well... I feel like I have less of a right. I mean, I would die of happiness to use my MC/hosting/casting skills professionally in the gaming world, but right now most of the reason people even let me is because I'm around... and that's because of Geoff. ( I promise I'm really good in front of a camera, so whoever wants to give a start to the future premiere host of the gaming world... step right up. ) To be honest, I think at least at a subconscious level I think that everyone here would automatically have some level of dislike for me if I was the iNc EX.
I dunno, what do you guys think, if Geoff and I were to break up, would it be better for me to stick around, or leave it to him?
Poll: Would uNc be welcome without iNc?Yes, of course! (18) 51% Everyone's welcome, but probably would be a better idea to stay away. (13) 37% No, sorry. (4) 11% 35 total votes Your vote: Would uNc be welcome without iNc? (Vote): Yes, of course! (Vote): Everyone's welcome, but probably would be a better idea to stay away. (Vote): No, sorry.

Actually guys, I kinda see his point. I did say ask anything, and I'm sure guys are curious. I don't know if I would have answered, but...
