If you aren't going to buy a video card for the intel go for the amd or it probably won't run sc2 at all
|
The thing says Integrated Video... which makes me think that it doesn't allow for a replacement card. That might explain why its built for Office use.
|
Well what will you be using it for?
Seems like the iBUYPOWER is a better buy because you can actually run decent games such as... sc2 on it.

Well it has a PCI-e x16 expansion slot so I'm pretty sure it'd support a video card. I think it's funny that the office pc has 6GB RAM though, seems excessive.

wanderer: you can replace it with a dedicated card, it just means the GPU it comes with is on the mobo.

Build one yourself, its easy and for that money you could get a computer better than either one of those.
|
The only real shortcoming that I can see between the left computer is the video card, or lack thereof.
The one on the right looks setup and ready to go, but the one on the left is better in almost every category... its just the video card.

But I don't know how! ":D

You won't be able to play any games on the Integrated Intel Chipset, at least not on any decent settings.
On the other hand, the i3 + 6 GB of RAM beats the A II 250 + 4 GB any day.

Give the money to charity imo.

The one on the right IBUYPOWER has a radeon 5450, the other one has integrated graphics..
so if its for sc2 then the right i think would be better? forumers help me out on this one

Bump for the sake of a more decisive answer to the question.
PS: gogo jaedong!
|
oops i voted for the gateway on accident. i meant to vote for the ibuypower one.
|
iBUYPOWER, obviously. I'd rather have a ATI graphic card than an Intel.

THESE COMPUTERS WILL NOT BE CAPABLE OF PLAYING MUCH OF ANYTHING.
go into one of the many build thread and ask for some help putting together your own comp.
its REALLY easy, all you do is connect like 5 components, if you can dress yourself, you can put together a computer...there is no soldering or hacking involved..lol
if you build your own it will be 3x better for the same cost.
