They didn't know about half the SCBW mechanics and techniques used today, most of them are just bugs; not once have they properly balanced a game, SCBW was balanced by custom maps and mechanics, War III still isn't, same goes for Diablo II, WoW (in a way) and so on. You can spin it any way u want but the point remains that blizz has no competition in this field (competitive RTS) and likely never will since most companies are just developing mass console FPS's nowadays.

Do you really think BW proscene will die just because kespa is replaced? OGN/MBC will still organize their shit, and a new PL will be underway. People took crap from kespa because they had monopoly. People will take crap from blizzard if they have to just like they did with kespa. This isnt a bunch of fans throwing hissy fits, this is an entire industry that needs to relay a foundation on another plot of land. They can either move, or die. They will move.

Does everyone forget how Kespa out of nowhere claims the rights to PL, sells it off to IEG for a fee, then forces OGN and MBC to pay for their own creation? That was just pure greed. Blizzard may just be doing the same thing, except they created the game and have potential to contribute.

The biggest issue with KeSPA illegally selling Blizzard's intellectual property was that Blizzard could not sue KeSPA because the Korean government refused to deal with Blizzard. If KeSPA continues to operate SC2 as it did with SC1 and if Blizzard can't stop KeSPA, then we're back to square 1 again.

KeSPA still can probably do what they want under Korean law with BW, but it's not the same with SC2 because they removed LAN and you need to deal with international law to play without LAN. If Blizzard ruins the leagues I will never buy anything from them again.

SCII is more like Command and Conquer 4 with Starcraft units rather than Starcraft 2. and you are more like a retard in a troll suit.

I realize the enormous contribution that was made by the Korean ESports community that made Brood War successful, but is Korea even necessary at this point to have a successful competitive game? Some of these comments are people suggesting that with out the Korean community, SC II won't have any shelf-life, why is that? Are the Americans, Europeans, and Chinese not capable of picking up the slack? See the issue isn't that there won't be people competing in E-Sports. There will be. The issue is that the skill level of these people won't be as high.Korea basically has a system in place that trains the best. If Korea is out of the picture, you'll basically have people at the skill level of Nony and Day9 playing rather than people with the skills of Flash and Jaedong.
