Edit: also bacon i understood lost seasons 1-4 fine watching them back to back on abc.com and 5 and 6 explain more stuff, fewer mysteries, so they're easier to follow LOST isn't that complex, dexter is really good but i can't vote on the poll, i like them equally

Is bad, I gave it a season of my time it didn't pay me back in full. silly shit. Dexter has Michael C. The writing is awesome, but then again you only watched a season of it, so yeah when I want to give a review of the ocean I take a little dip at my local beach and judge its entirety based on that. When there's an oil spill in the ocean, you don't go in the ocean. The show had an inane first season. Don't talk to me about not wanting to think, you think this "Lost" bullshit is complicated? Go watch a David Lynch movie, then get back to me. You are a ridiculous little man.

Ok, first you were like show is needlessly complicated. Then I'm like people dislike it cause it's complicated. Then you're like you think it's complicated? pfffft it's not complicated, david lynch is complicated. The reason I had the ocean analogy is because the whole show is a continuous plot line, season 1 is just merely the intro, it barely begins to scratch into the plot, it's just setting the stage. I agree with the fact that if you didn't like the first season you won't like the rest, but judging the whole plot of the show and it's writing based on the first season is the part I didn't agree with.

I think the problem with Lost is that you completely forget any details in the long breaks between seasons, so when a new season starts you have no idea of what's going on. Dexter, on the other hand, is just perfect.

REALLY? hahaha come on man I do enjoy lost quite a bit, but dexter >>> lost, main reason being Michael C. Hall and his chiselled good looks. His acting is superb, and the way he smiles sometimes really creeps me the fuck out, makes me believe hes an actual serial killer

Lost's writing has gotten continuously worse to the point where they've ruined pretty much every major character. The dialogues are horribly predictable and the plot has gaping holes. At this point, the whole show seems to circle around cheap tricks to create suspense and any real content is pretty much gone. I loved season 1, and I at least liked Lost until season 6 but eh, if you really feel like Lost's writing and plot is top notch, I don't think you've watched any actually good films before. edit: and yes, I do know my way around Lost. I've watched most Lost episodes 3 times because I used to watch the episodes with different groups of friends.

Lost just got lost in their own story its just not as compelling anymore.. im just watching just to know how it ends.. with lost you are juggling between characters and storylines it just becomes stale after a while.. with dexter each season is better and has a deeper storyline.. but they are very different tv shows.. its like saying do you like bacon? or cheese ?

Or you could watch some really hot guy, play a sociopath that kills bad guys that occasionally conflicts with his real life as a blood spatter guy / husband. Wait, I actually have to choose one? BACOOOON
