Our two favourite SC2 voices are back this week, talking about balance changes, embarrassing in game moments, and of course, micro. There are many points of view out there at the moment on how unit control works in the Beta. Of course, when reading those opinions, its very easy to forget that the Broodwar micro management we know and love also evolved over many, many years. Listen in as these two old schoolers give us all some perspective. Micro aside, there is also a lot of patch talk as usual, with plenty of banter thrown in.
If you missed them talking about the last patch, here's a little bit about our casters. Sean "Day[9]" Plott needs no introduction on Team Liquid. From Day[9].tv to casting the TSL, he is the voice of TL and his rabid fan following grows everyday. His co-caster on this podcast, Tristan "Mantra" Brand, has been playing games since Warcraft 2, a man whom Day[9] calls "an ancient dinosaur among gamers" and by his own admittance is "a Blizzard RTS elitist."
If you've got thirty minutes to spare, this cast is definitely worth a listen. A micro discussion, balance talk and Artosis mothership jokes - what more could a nerd ask for? So, enjoy the cast and keep your ears open for a special announcement! As always, there's more great stuff from TL on the way.
How to Listen to Ogg Vorbis
The format of the podcast has been changed from mp3 to ogg. Here is a list of software that plays ogg on windows, mac and linux. Almost all media players (with the exception of Apple products) will be able to play Vorbis with no additional requirements.
