And game 5 was a complete adaptation to IdrA's Barracks FE. Nony even said he wanted that to be the macro game everyone was expecting, but he had to change his gameplan because of what IdrA did.I'd say adjusting your plan and thinking outside the box are just as much part of a players skill as execution of "standard builds" and Nony impressed me by not being afraid to try out things he hadn't planned for. He analyzed his situation in-game and made a smart decision about his next move, and I'd say IdrA didn't do that (game 1 maybe being the exception but I think IdrA predicted that before the game even). Heck, IdrA just gave up game 2 because something out of the ordinary occured! And like Nony said, had he stayed he may have caught a glimpse of Nony's counter. IdrA -> bad calls in unusual situation, Nony -> smart calls in unusual situations. At least that's my take | ||
