Glad to see Sen make it through although Ret is pure class. Obviously Ret will take TSL3

some people really shouldn't have access to the internet, keeps on amazing me how some people can separate how they act in real life and how they act on forums to such a degree just because they cant be held accountable.
On topic though, this round of TSL broke my soul

No wonder top Zerg players are getting zvz sniped in Winners League. I agree. With the way ZvZ is played nowindays, it's not longer any real indicator of who the better player is. Having said that, Rets response to lings was poor in pretty much every game. I disagree. You guys are all just butt-hurt that Ret got outplayed. I fully agree with that, I mean lets have a look at how ret has lost ZvZ's in TSL: Castro: one loss - too greedy/not enough lings sen: first loss - too greedy/not enough lings second loss - too greedy/not enough lings third loss - too greedy/not enough lings I mean at some point he has to stop, think for a second and go "oh he knows my weak spot is that I tend to make too few lings, I should just make a shitload of lings this game so he cant break me and then go into the muta-battle where I'll have to upper hand". That's rets problem in a way, he has only played koreans in ZvZ. they often dont get like two controlgroups of lings and break right before mutas, they want it to go to mutas since they can micro like no one else. So it basically comes down to lack of experiance on rets part. Yeah, and not even just that. Ret played all the games quite stupidly. Without scouting information, especially if expanding, it's very natural and normal to build almost purely lings. You don't just drone up without scouting information, you make only lings and a single drone here and there, maybe.(Especially against foreigners). Even if your opponent isn't making many lings to attack you, you can still use your lings to attack so it doesn't really hurt you that much, especially against foreigners.
I don't understand how a player can be that greedy in every game and not learn after the first time he makes the mistake. Ret definitely deserved to lose the series because he seemed to heavily lack common sense and adaptability. In fact, I don't understand what he was thinking or trying to do, at all.

Is it an invasion when the information was all publicly obtained?
I'd love for this guys friends and coworkers to see how much of an idiot he is when he thinks he's anonymous. He's more a threat to himself than any stupid spam.
Games were really fun to watch today, really impressed with fenix's play. If only the marines had been next to the bunker =((

not neccesarily the info he posted (although i would call the way it was done and its purpose invasive) but what he was threatening to do, that certainly would be.

The statements by incontrol (AKA lose in the first round of every tournament that's ever been made -> har har har fatass) that the foreigner scene is catching up to the pro-gaming scene are being shown as false as his attempts to portray himself as some sort of competitive gamer. NEWS FLASH: you aren't competitive if you're a 30 year old fatass who can't pay the bills because you LOSE IN THE FIRST ROUND OF ALL YOUR TOURNAMENTS. Ret has 1 up on InControl, he loses in the 2nd and 3rd round instead.

Yes he made mistakes and all. But still, it really shocks me how few people give due credit to Sen. Apparently the average netizen nowadays seems to just have followed the foreigner scene 2 weeks into the TSL. Sen has arguably been the #1 foreigner zerg for some 2 years -- when ret didn't even know how to spell starcraft. Last year, Draco came from nowhere to a #2 finish, and his opponents on his way did not look good at all. Sure, ret was winning a lot lately, but *never* underestimate these "old" players.
I simply don't understand how people could have thought ret was the clear favourite.

Do you think it's more likely that a guy with a 7 year old account with 1 post (with the name Sherlock) would all of a sudden resurface with a post like this in order to respond to another user who, coincidentally, had a lowly 8 posts?
I distinctly remember seeing this same thing happening a long time ago (like years ago, probably with the same account), which means that it's probably some TL member who pulled this gag back then, and then remembered how funny it was and decided to do it again.
Edit: I remember a little more about the post now, one of the pictures was the guy on a boat with the ocean in the background... jog anyone's memory?

I simply don't understand how people could have thought ret was the clear favourite. Well, what are you talking about? I think he wasn't the favorite. I just don't understand what he was trying to accomplish by making like 5 drones more than your opponent. Doesn't he understand that only means that he's going to die. You only need to make one drone more than your opponent to have an advantage, in fact a game-winning advantage. 12-hatch doesn't need any extra drones in order to produce Mutalisks non-stop off 2 hatcheries.
Does Ret have some kind of a drone-fetish, or what does he try to accomplish? His play made no sense to me at all, it was as if he was asking to lose and in the only case where he did not lose( his opponent powered drones super hard), he was behind. Just extremely stupid play from such a good player.
Also, ret is not new school but instead old school and has been around since like 2002 or whatever, and what does Draco have to do with this? Also, you missed my post's point entirely. My point wasn't that the favorite made dumb mistakes and lost, my point was that he played shockingly terribly. How can a player not get that you don't need fully saturated base to ZvZ? In fact, having 9 drones on minerals total is more than enough for pure Muta pump off 2 bases, you don't need to spam them like a madman.
