Game 1: He's known to be able to bunker rush so I'll show him I'm capable of going for an early pool, also preparing a creative quick muta build. Game 2: Flash saw I can go for an early pool and the map has an easily defendable natural, so I'll 3h before pool expecting Flash to 1rax cc. Game 3: Flash probably just thought that that was a random 3h before pool and JD wouldn't do it again, also had the first game's early pool in the back of his mind. JD 3h before pool again, and another BO adv. Game 4: Flash saw 2 3h before pools, so he needs to do something about it. Jaedong opens with an overpool and defends easily into victory. JD really beat Flash in the mindgames, completely.

MBC's desire to hike up ratings and limit the amount of viewers may have contributed to this whole ugly situation. Other, larger, venues could have potentially averted this. However, MBC decides to use their untested and unproven studio to host the Finals. That didn't quite work out well didn't it? I am eternally endebted to you!

Jaedong probably decided that the build was solid on that map and decided to use it.

If it has to be SOMEONEs fault I would have to say it's MBC's for doing the magic studio thing and not being adequately prepared for such an event. But ultimately I don't think ANYONE could of POSSIBLY seen this coming. It's just an utter shame and disappointment but there really wasnt much that could of been done. We just all have to pray that the two will meet again soon in a Bo5. No, KeSPA royally fucked up here. It's unbelievably unprofessional and just straight up pathetic to LET THE ARGUMENT GO ON FOR A FUCKING HOUR. Stick with your damn decision, even if it's the wrong one, and play it out professionally.

It's not as clear cut who won the game as some people might think. It's Flash we're talking about here, not some random terran. Anyways, you can't really give a free win like this, it's ridiculous. Also it seemed to mess up Flash's concentration in game 4 =/ Also, if I was Jaedong I would've demanded a re-game of game 3. I dunno if he said something about it or whatever but why isn't he outraged? I wouldn't feel good about winning like that.

But i think what screwed Flash more wasn't giving the game to jaedong, a player of his caliber surely knew that he was losing anyway. What hurt him alot was the reaction of his team and his father. Maybe his father's reaction is understandable because he doesn't know the game but KT's reaction is unforgivable. I mean, those guys know about SC, they were watching the game and knew Flash was going to loose; then the power outrage happens and they jump on the opportunity to try to get the game back. I can't imagine how embarassing it must have been for flash in this situation, especially considering that he is close with Jaedong. No,no, what KT (not flash) showed was a complete lack of sportsmanship. They are the ones that killed Flash's fighting spirit. That continue to show that even among their respective teams the player still are treated as children, with team managers always deciding everything for them. I'm convinced that if they had asked flash, he would have admited that the game was lost for him anyways.

Jaedong went pool / extractor before hatch. This allows Jaedong to morph his lair 30 seconds earlier. This means Jaedong's mutalisks arrive 30 seconds earlier than normal. This made all the difference in the world. If Jaedong's mutalisks had arrived 30 seconds later, Flash would not have lost so easily. Flash's timing was off. Jaedong's build here was very very well thought out.

Thought it was a 12 pool, didn't Zero do the exact same thing vs Flash on this map? 2 hatch mutas off 12 pool come at 5:30,

However, I do appreciate how amazing Flash is. Because of this, I thought Flash deserved a title, and since Jaedong was my absolute favorite, I wanted him to win a title as well, while Movie coming in second would also satisfy me. So, Flash got the most prestigious title, with all my hopes for the players coming true. I'm glad it turned out this way.

Mutas came at 5:35. Calm used an expo hatch first build. Mutas came at 6:11. 30 second difference, which is HUGE. Flash lost both games vs Zero / Calm. But clearly Jaedong was able to abuse that 30 second timing window to his advantage and capitalize on the low amount of main defense.

At first the recommended games said "This series is bullshit" then it was nothing now its "watch all of them" And for some reason suddenly the "who do you think will win" part is now dead even, while before the games clearly in favour of flash.
