FC Twin Console Fc Twin console (bis)
Anyone know anything about this console? Does anyone got it or know someone that got it? I'm really looknig forward to buy this but I'm not really sure if it's working correctly and if it's reliable.
I like the fact that it can play both SNES and NES game.
Thanks

Are you sure it is compatible with all the NES mappers? I know that some of the famicon clones have big problems with some of the games. I assume that NES games have much less mappers than the pirated famicon games, but Wikipedia provides a big list of games that dont work on this FC Twin, which IMO looks pretty scary. If Mario Bros 2 (MMC2 board I think?) and Paperboy dont work; then many other games might have problems.
If you live in Canada isnt it better to just buy an original NES console? The controllers might be a problem though as they can be used up.
Personally I use famicon clone called pegasus dx-777 (I think it's only known in Eastern Europe and Taiwan), which so far has worked with all the famiclone cartridges I ever had (that's my original console hehe). It even seems to work with all my NES games when I connect them through a special adapter, but I never tried it much, because I have an original NES as well. As for controllers I bought some cheap ones from the Russians on a market. Unfortunately I dont think you have such options in Canada, since you probably only use original NES consoles. Not even sure if you have PAL or NTSC tv format. Id recommend sticking with a NES and SNES alone; although it's nice to have "fresh" controllers :/

The FCTwin doesn't work with all NES mappers.
