Anyone watch this show? It looked really bad from previews when it came out a few years ago, so I never watched it. But since I am a pretty big terminator fan (I even hate 3 and 4 and I still have them), I wanted to watch these.

Anyone give a quick rundown on plot and/or what to expect from action, acting, story/cannon, etc.
I just rewatched all the movies recently and am feeling nostalgic for the series. (it got cancelled correct?)

Its a decent show, explosions and gunfire, all that nice stuff.
I found they tried to develope the characters a bit too much and it turned into a bit of a chick flick...with explosions(is that possible?)

I didnt watch it a whole lot but some of my relatives really enjoyed it. It kept my attention when i saw it was on anyway. More of a decent way to kill time than a show to avidly follow I'd say.

any specific episodes I should watch in order to preview the series as a whole? I don't really care about spoilers that much.

and yea, with a series like this being made for regular TV its obviously going to be lacking because there is like no way its gonna have top level acting/actors to fill the hole of high budget action , gore, sex, and other rated R stuff.
Which is pretty much why 4 sucked.

It was entertaining when I was watching it all on blue-ray. (had a bored weekend), however, once I caught up and it was a weekly thing I found my interest in the show start to slow. So since your a big fan you'll probably enjoy it enough to make it worth it, although you might not be recommending it to people.

Has the new season started?
It's always been one of those shows that I've never really liked but I'll watch anyway because I'm such a fan of the whole Terminator franchise. I suppose that's bad as it promotes poor content.

It takes place in an alternate timeline from T3 and Salvation, but it follows T1 and 2. The producer calls it "his own version of T3".

Season 2 was great, but it suffered in ratings due to the fact that it was too serialized and complicated for casual fans to follow. I recommend watching the entire series.

The only reason to watch T:SCC is Summer Glau. I like the series, it is fun to watch but Summer as the terminator is definitely the best role in this series and produces funny moments. It should be centered around her and not Sarah Connor.

it's a great show, especially if you enjoy the terminator storyline. it disregards the 3rd and 4th movies though (picks up during the timeline between the 2nd and 3rd movies). i also agree that summer glau is the best part of the show. too bad that it's been cancelled
