You just do sidequests (dungeons) all day until you find out the one "real" quest to do. Whenever you complete the big quest, that's the end of the game. Levelling and combat are also fairly unique. RS3 is one of my favorite SNES RPGs~ Terranigma is pretty good as well.

You can also play Chrono Cross after you're done with Chrono Trigger. Hmmmm, get Tales from monkey island. its much more forgiving and pretty and more sensical for new entrants to the series.... than the remastered secrets of monkey island version. Trust me on this Edit: opppps. sorry for going out of topic : (

I highly recommend those 3 Snes roms. Without thread hijacking... does anyone know a good Playstation Emulator/rom and where to get... I really want to beat FF7 again.

The AI is really easy to beat once you get the hang of it. Until then it's seemingly impossible and will cause much rage.

These are the same game, give or take some interesting translations and localisation niggles (apparently US gamers are too innocent to see the word "pub" on the side of a building, for example.) EDIT: There's a patch for the FF6J ROM which has been translated to english, I finally found a link in a forum post here: http://www.emuxhaven.net/forums/showthread.php?t=6129 (NOT the ROM, the english patch )

Unless you haven't played Chrono Trigger, in which case by all means finish it before watching, although this run won't spoil much... what the hell was the guy doing in the beginning? i don't get it at all haha, and he gets characters he shouldn't have yet all of a sudden? Full explanation here: http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8001 Basically it takes two frames to save, and the savegame is therefore corruptible if you reset after 1. He uses it to duplicate items to fill up his inventory with all of one kind of item, which the programmers never accounted for, and it triggers a buffer overflow. The overflow exploit enabled him to "warp-in" characters at a whim. Many of the other glitches were well-known beforehand, and used in the previous any% run (which was 4 hours longer!)

Street Fighter II ( champion edition, turbo or new challengers. All are cool ) Some Gradius ( those games are hardcore :o ) BOMBERMAN and Super mario kart. A link to the past ( Zelda ). This game might be a bit archaic nowadays but it has a SOUL. Listen and cry ( all the musics of this game are awesome ).

Along those lines, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance for GBA as well. Similar battle style but much more complex, and a good story too.
