The poor guy had this massive prop gun which seemed very heavy - his costume was one of the best I saw all day. It looked so well made. He was very, very shy though (I think it was because he was one of the only male cosplayers.) | ||

The ones on the stalls were made by independent costume companies (usually with websites.) but yes some of the ones the cosplayers were wearing are home made. I was really happy to see cosplaying done in such a creative and cool way. The sixth person - honestly I'm not sure. I'm pretty certain that the Sailor was a guy, but that cosplayer was really shy and s/he didn't talk at all so I can't be sure. My favorites of the day were the Samurai/Shinsengumi type duo - their costumes were absolutely gorgeous and they knew how to pose. | ||
