Statistics
+ Show Spoiler +
The numbers inside parenthesis represent the player's record for the last 5 games played against the opponent's race in (W-L) format.
The numbers between the above statistic represent the player's head to head record.
YellOw[ArnC] (5-0) 0 - 0 (2-3) go.go
go.go's sporting two TvZ losses in this OSL - one to Juni in the Round of 36 and one to ZerO in the Round of 16. However, his teammate Yarnc is going to be his toughest challenge yet. Yarnc has easily one of the best ZvTs around, and he should be able to capitalize on the fairly neutral battleground of Holy World. The two teammates have never met head-to-head, this should be an interesting first encounter.
type-b (2-3) 0 - 0 (3-2) Leta
Once again, Leta's TvZ just outclasses the rookie type-b here. Outsider slightly favors Zerg, but we've seen Leta execute brilliant two-port wraiths on this map before. Not to mention his only loss to a Zerg on the map is to Jaedong, putting him at a sound 5-1 record. Again, the two hite teammates have never faced each other, making their first encounter quite important.
Canata (3-2) 0 - 0 (3-2) fantasy
The third teammate tiff tonight turns these two Terran teammates toe-to-toe (sorry I love alliteration). Canata had a hotstreak in his TvT a year ago where he tore up absolutely everyone and anyone. While he's since cooled off, his prowess in the matchup is undeniable, and he's riding another hotstreak again, in the quarterfinals of both leagues. Meanwhile, fantasy is fresh off of a loss to teammate Bisu in the MSL. His 58% TvT is slightly higher than Canata's 56%.
ZerO (1-4) 1 - 4 (2-3) Jaedong
Jaedong simply has ZerO's number, going 4-1 against the Stars Zerg in official, televised matches. Throw in a 2-0 thrashing in the 07 Spring OSL prelims and The Tyrant has 6 wins over the young Zerg. Nevermind the 77% winrate in his mirror matchup. Some people have been hopping on the slump bandwagon for Jaedong recently, being that he lost a Bo3 and dropped the first game of a Bo5 (where have we seen that before), but ZerO's ZvZ rates at a lowly 48%, almost 30 percentage points lower than his opponent.
The one advantage is ZerO has a much looser schedule than Jaedong, playing one ZvZ last night, while Jaedong has had GOM, MSL and Proleague to worry about prior to this match.

YellOw[ArnC] <Holy World SE> go.go
+ Show Spoiler [Summary] +
go.go tries to pull a page from Flash's book and opens up with a proxy rax against his opponent, but Yarnc's got some maphacks in his brain and scouts it, and kills the constructing SCV with his drone. go.go decides to try again with a factory, but doesn't really do anythng. Yarnc counters with some hydras and is sorta shut down, tries to morph some lurkers but go.go sees them hidden. However, Yarnc had been getting mutas, they appear, go.go ggs.
DISCLAIMER: I woke up in the first 2 minutes of this game from my nap between this and eStars, so I'm a bit foggy.
type-b <Outsider> Leta
+ Show Spoiler [Summary] +
Leta opens up with a proxy factory that is almost scouted, but type-b's hydras stop the vulture anyways as it was spotted trying to be bugged through the minerals. From here type-b transitions to lurker/ling while Leta goes for Mnm + tanks/vessels. A good game ensues, with type-b getting to hive tech and finally just overrunning Leta with lurker/ling/defilers/ultras.
Canata <Heartbreak Ridge> fantasy
+ Show Spoiler [Summary] +
Fantasy opens up on the aggressive with a proxy factory while Canata opens up with a FE build. After fantasy's initial attack, he moves to 2port wraiths, while Canata continues at his pace. Wraiths eliminate most of the SCVs at Canata's main while fantasy loses a depot and some SCVs from Canata's tank + vulture. Fantasy just goes into macro mode and rolls Canata over with vulture drops and eventually an overwhelming tank force busting down the front door.
ZerO <Return of the King> Jaedong
+ Show Spoiler [Summary] +
ZerO opens overpool. Jaedong opens 12hat. Jaedong shows why he's a pimp and traps ZerO's lings at his natural. After that he chases ZerO back to his main where he streams lings into the natural, kills ZerO's hatchery and then goes for his drone line. Jaedong's 3 mutas pop and arrive to ZerO's 4 scourge + 1 muta, and ZerO ggs.
