Ok, this has been bothering me for a while now. I listen to mostly underground musics, especially underground hip-hop (please don't use this thread to argue what is good/bad) and there is literally like none of it on youtube (that I listen to).
I have created a few dummy accounts in order to upload 1 album for each (just in case copyright claims, even though I really doubt anything will be taken down considering the content). I already uploaded 1 album, but I seriously have like 50+ more. It took about an hour or more to just do the one album using Camtasia.
Which is another thing, is there a faster/better way to convert an mp3 to a video file with just a still image of the cover art? What I have done previously is just drop the mp3 into camtasia studio timeline, the drop the image into the timeline, then stretch the image across the entire mp3 length. Then click 'Produce Video As', then use the recommended setting of DVD quality (to keep it sounding great).
It works well but I can only do 1 song at a time and it takes time and micromanagement, I can't just click a bunch of songs and cue them up.
So I either need help with this or a new program to do it more efficiently.
So onto the point of this thread: If anyone is interested in helping me upload some music let me know. Obviously you get the music for free for your enjoyment and that is the benefit of this to you, but the cost is just that you upload it and share it with the world.
I'll send you a few albums at a time and hopefully we can sort of compete with each other in order to keep us towards the goal of uploading them all.
PS- I also have a folder full of new/old shit that still needs to be renamed, tagged in a proper format, find album art & track listings for. This is obviously a never ending- on going process and it's really just plain overwhelming for me alone. Especially since I have a hoard of shit already. My personal friends who listen to the same music either don't really care and/or don't have time like me to do it.
Even if you can only be bothered to do like 1 album that would be awesome.

Just use Windows Movie Maker Put the audio in, then the picture of the album - make it last for the whole song and bam. Export. It's pwn quality still so - then upload

weird, I am running into an issue with camtasia where it doesn't want to read track 01. I tried to rename the file but it didn't work. Maybe it has something to do with certain ID3 tags? PS- windows movie maker doesn't create High Quality for youtube, so it sounds worse. Camtasia on DVD mode is legit.
