Yep! It's time once again for the WCG USA Qualifiers. As a yearly tradition, this year's WCG USA process is not without its share of drama. What's even better is that thus far none of the drama has been between players... the WCG management was at odds with us, the community. Luckily, the masses have prevailed and now the qualifiers are underway!

Now that the drama bombs have gone off and we are left with a slightly better format for qualifying for the finals, here are the details:
Format
This year sadly not only are there no offline local qualifiers, but there are no offline regionals. There will be (10???) 9 online qualifiers, with the winner of each advancing to the US Finals, along with two spots given to the WCG USA Invitational winner and runner up (which will be held in the middle of May).
The online qualifiers will be a tournament format, matches BO3, etc.

I'm thinking either: A) only 1st @ WCG US Open advances to the finals, OR B) they will add a 10th online qualifier. This means the final participant list will be either 10 or 12 (hopefully 12). Someone with more info please let me know!

ya i havent bothered trying to get around it yet since i cant play the first quali cuz of eswc anyway, but my attempts to get in contact with the admins have failed so far.
