Proleague:
With the return of the regular proleague format and all new maps the excitement returns after a one month break. With a new interface, new maps, almost 1000 teams fantasy proleague should be as exciting as ever. What is it going to take to win now, with last round coming down to the wire its going to take every effort to come out on top. The improved trading system along with anti team adds even more layers on top of the already exciting format. Whether its your first time or you've been in this since the beginning this should be lots of fun.

[2006-05-20 W6D5] WJN 3-1 ACE | HIT 3-1 MBC:
With just one more shortened week left (one game for each team) doubleupgradeobbies is looking good with a 2 point lead over the SKT team and a 10 pt lead over Pizzown. Trading is open for the final week but take note: with teams only playing one match and the trade tax it may not be worth it to make trades this week. For those of you looking onward to next round there shouldn't be any major changes so you may want to start planning (a player's trade value should be close to their cost for next round now).
[2009-05-16 W6D1] WEM 3-2 SKT | EST 3-1 CJE:+ Show Spoiler [post] +
We start of week 6 with two upsets with SKT and CJ both losing their matches. HotBid's SKT team manages to take first place despite them losing while the real fight for first place is a tie right now at 145 points between doubleupgradeobbies and Pizzown (and who are now 12 points ahead of 4th place).
Heading into the final week (and a half) we have Pizzown just barely holding onto his lead against the SKT team (who is just absolutely dominating this pl -- seriously, who expected SKT zergs to go 7-1 so far?!). SKT is now a ridiculous 23-6 in their games played this round with Bisu, Fantasy, and Thezerg all in the top 10 (and Best at 18) for players so far. With teams only having 2 or 3 games left trading is going to be difficult between teams with a different number of matches left and could complicate things in the final stretches (KTF can't be traded away anymore T_T).
Hwaseung continues their winning streak with another 3-0 while ACE wins yet another match raising their record to 4-4. Pizzown stays in first place with a 6 point lead now. Jaedong finally gets some wins this week with 2 ZvZs but is still under 8 trade value. The top 4 main team trades are all trades for Hwaseung now, their horrible performance to start the round led to a really low trade value and the option to trade almost anyone for them. Fluffy Pingu is somehow in second place with -18 from trading (no one else in the top 100 has below -10 trading).
pachi: Hot_Bid and Abydos1 continue to nurse their underperforming teams while eSTRO crushes anti-teams everywhere with a solid 3-0 result with their main stars. As usual, SKTT1 based teams stay on top of the pack with Pizzown owning the competition like they were pizzas (or pizz). Leta wins twice to apologize for his recent slump while HoGil makes Yellow[ArnC] owners regret picking the wrong Hite Zerg. As Week Five reaches its midpoint, the competition is winding down as approximately two more weeks are left in the competition.

SKT continues to dominate, only having dropped one game (lost by Bisu nonetheless); Bisu, Thezerg, and Fantasy are all in the top 5 as evidenced by the SKT fantasy team sitting in second place right now. Pizzown Led by Yarnc and the SKT lineup netting 25 points on the day. In the other matchup CJ surprisingly loses 2-3 with Movie failing to spot a probe waltzing right up his ramp to place cannons behind his mineral line (Medusa) and Skyhigh neglecting to get muta defense in a very low econ rush ace match. Yarnc pulls out two wins on the night to lead Hite to victory.
Brood stays in first with a growing lead as Hwaseung loses their 4th 3-0 game (ACE has scored just as many points as them and played 2 less games). Jaedong owners (all 520 of them) have to be cursing him as he continues to drop games. Thezerg has scored more points than Jaedong! With week 3 in the books and this round almost half way through Ph33r, sitting in 10th place, has an impressive +29 points from trading and has been sitting close to first for a while now.

[2009-04-26 W3D2] HWA 3-0 WEM | SAM 3-1 EST+ Show Spoiler [post] +
pachi: No one wrote a post. Abydos and Hot_Bid are probably too busy at 150+. Usual stuff, Samurai- has the top spot, keeping the Former Top 10 group alive while Kennigit refuses to budge at second place. Jaedong finally won, so did Oz, Samsung and Firebathero. Most interesting result today was probably Really > Jangbi because Really is a very popular anti-team member (180 teams), who gained his first 3 points of the competition.
In what will hopefully be the end of this long string of 3-0's we see both matches going to an ace match today with Leta > Forgg and Zero > Calm. Zero gets 10 points on the night going 2-0 with an ace win. Hasuprotoss leads the pack at 64 points with the top 10 all within a couple points.
Brood looked poised to take a commanding lead going into today's matches however with so much leaning on the Stork v Best match the horrible attack by Stork resulted in Brood dropping to 21st place. Tonight was the night of upsets with Jaedong, Bisu, and Jangbi all losing their games to inferior opponents. The 521 people that picked Jaedong can not be happy with his performance so far and he'll have to perform flawlessly to make up for his early losses. CynanMachae reclaims first place for the end of week 2. With the first full week ending after the first trading period we have ph33r with an impressive +16 points from trades making 3 trades that all payed off big.
Last night was absolutely brutal for the majority of owners, especially those that heavily based their teams on KTF and the large number that traded for Hwasin. ACE and HERO pulled off large upsets and prevented KTF and STX from even taking it to an Ace Match. Light, Sea, Reach, and ACE are also very popular anti-team choices. Currently, BroOd is first despite having KTF as his team, and he has Jaedong, Stork, and thezerg in action tomorrow.
Woongjin ended WeMade's 2 game winning streak while eSTRO lost despite being up 2-0 on Hite. Leta is now the #1 fantasy player with a 4-0 (1-0 Ace) record, and the only player who has earned a streak point. At the beginning of the season many owners (521 to be exact) felt Jaedong was a better value at 10 than Leta was at 9, but those 34 brave owners who chose him are reaping the benefits now. darod2007 sits in first due to his extremely effective anti-team. hasuprotoss is three points behind in second, and pachi and BroOd are third and fourth. BroOd is also #1 in trade gain (+7 so far), ditching Pure (0-1) and HoGiL (not in lineup) for thezerg (1-0, TW) and Violet (1-0, TW), both of whom are set to play again this week. Three of the Top 4 teams have Leta and not Jaedong. The next most effective player is fOrGG, who is owned by the vast majority of the Top 10.
Yet another two 3-0 results as fantasy owners have to be cursing BackHo and Jaedong for losing their games. CJ and SKT are now both 2-0 worth 16 points with the boost in scoring this round. Sitting at #1 today is brjdrb with 52 points while BroOd is just one point behind gaining 5 pts from trades this week (and surely would have been first with a win by Jaedong). So far we've had a different leader at the end of each day and it looks to continue that way for a while, trades are already proving useful with several teams already up 5 points (though several are down 6 points as well).
Modesty and Hwasin scared everyone by going down 0-2 to ACE, needing an epic Reach fail to claw their way back. July sealed the deal in a lopsided ace match against Anytime, and STX owners breathed a sigh of relief. The other match saw KTF easily dismantle MBC 3-0 without using Flash, much to the dismay of his owners. The TL Staff and Former Top 10 are doing quite well: HnR)Insane is in first, and there are six staff members in the Top 20. Round 2 winner intrigue sits just outside the Top 10 as well.
Hot_Bid: KTF owners breathe a sigh of relief, while STX owners curse their misfortunes. How does one lose after scouting a hydra break PvZ? Ask Kal. After the dust settles, brjdrb sits at the top of the hill. Several TL Staff members populate the Top 20, and the Former Top 10 group is doing quite well. In the player rankings, Jaedong is first, but amazingly, Shine[KaL] is tied with him and Pure is second. These guys were a bargain for their cost, though only six total owners actually have Shine. Now that week one is done, the trading period is open for the next three days. FPL Trading: the excitement and anxiety of team selection, repeated every week. Good luck!
Another day, another top 3, another pair of 3-0s -- that's been the story so far. With KHAN's top 3 of Jangbi, Stork, Firebathero all losing their games and Oz's Young, Lomo, and Hiya losing their games. So far teams have been the big points scorers with the newly renamed Hite Sparky'z netting you 10 points and only 1 ace match being played depriving those lucrative points from a lot of players. This can't go on much longer and we should see the more reliable ace match player's generating their expected points soon.
With all the teams having played one match now we have a three way tie for first with Ideas, CynanMachae, and Shadet; Ideas having stayed there despite being -5 for the day. So far team picks have been quite large with 5 of the teams going 3-0 (8 points) and the 0-3 teams actually losing you two points. Standings are certainly not safe at all with teams gaining upwards of 24 points on a night, the extra points for teams adding to that. With two more days left this week people will start looking towards the first week of trading now.
Lots of owners picked KTF as their team, content with a 4-point "steal" and an easy first week schedule. Then WeMade ruined those plans with a 3-0 victory without Mind even playing. In the other set, eSTRO gift wrapped STX the match when hyvaa, Sangho, and Really all made huge mistakes at critical moments. Ideas is in first place, while the former R2 champ intrigue lurks within striking distance at #23. Don't panic, KTF owners. The fantasy season is not lost because of one 0-3. If they lose to eSTRO in a few days though, you can go into full freak out mode.
Well after some difficulties the correct standings are finally up; sitting in first place is Hot_Bid's Samsung KHAN team carried by their 3-0 win last night (thought this won't last for long); the top 10 are all over 20 pts most of whom have Jaedong who went 2-0 last night in Oz's win. Anti team has already hit some people hard, with LeperKahn losing the most at -10 points (all KHAN players). There's plenty of stats to browser through and all the tables are sortable by their headers too so be sure to check those out.
After Intrigue's huge win in season 1 and Nikk's close first last season, who is going to rise to the challenge for this season? This season brings all new maps, improved trading, a new interface, anti teams, a return to the normal format--and with almost 1000 signups again it could be the toughest season yet to win. With just a couple hours left I'm sure several people are frantically tweaking their teams (I know I'm still debating my options) and you'll need every insight you can gain to have a chance in this huge field. For tonights games we have the newly renamed Hite Sparkyz v Hwaseung Oz and Woongjin Stars v Samsung Khan. Hurry up and finalize your teams because Round 4 is about to start!
