Some of it was interesting but the alleged price tag for the 400 didnt amuse me as much.

I've just been automatically ignoring Switch 2 "leaks", since it seems every week there's a new "leak" that's later disproven the following month. Given that the Nintendo Switch OLED is $350, I wouldn't be super surprised if the next-gen console ends up being $400. We'll see how consumers feel about that price tag once official news of the console, its design, and its tech are released!

Keep on making and selling the Switch-OLED as a lower priced alternative. I agree. Everyone knows that we'll have official Switch 2 information by early/mid 2025, and once Nintendo releases that information, more consumers will start considering saving up their money for the next-gen console, making them less likely to buy one final current-gen Switch. I think that for this 2024 holiday season, Nintendo should: - drop the Switch Lite from $200 to $150; - drop the regular Switch from $250 to $200; - drop the OLED from $350 to $300. They should do that in November/December, and then release Switch 2 information starting in early 2025.

The Atari50 expansion pack contains several versions of Berzerk and the sequel Frenzy. If you want to play Berzerk the Atari50 Expanded Edition out November 8 is the way to go. Here is a look at each game...

Unlike Sony, I doubt Nintendo has the capacity to keep making the Switch after they transition to the Switch 2. They wouldn't do a price drop unless they still need to move a lot of units. Prices also depend on retailers and how much stock they have.

They definitely need to make sure they can stock Switches until the next-gen Nintendo console comes out (holiday season 2025 maybe?), and patiently selling them out at full price over a whole year can make them more money than rushing to sell them out at a discounted price within a few months.

On Thursday, Mario & Luigi: Brothership comes out. Pretty excited for that one, as I've never played a game in the "Mario & Luigi" series before New video:
