Could be on pace for 101 points if they win out. Only Lazio at home is their real challenge, otherwise all lower table and relegation teams left for Inter. Let’s goooooo
Pretty meh season though I do love my Inter there really wasn’t much of a good title race in Serie A this time out
How on Earth did we manage to pick up Marcus Thuram on a free?! What a season he’s had

He was 8/14 last season playing as a left back. Yes he has 11g this season and a couple assists more, but is playing with more freedom. But that is besides the point. Point was simple. You said people were sleeping on him, they werent, Benfica wanted money (and so did grimaldo) and considering his defensive issues, no club ever matched the values they wanted. Its not like you have a ton of top europe clubs playing with a back 3 and it obviously makes no sense to build a team around him to warrant changing your system for him. Is he one of those rare beasts who’s very good as a wing back in a 3/5, but not as a full back in a 4 in your opinion? Robin Gosens springs to mind when he was tearing it up at Atalanta. They’re slightly more common than unicorns but not by much. I don’t know what it is, it’s not a pure defensive/offensive ability thing either, as they don’t tend to be very good wide midfield players either. Maybe just how they tend to be orientated on the pitch that suits their skillset
Grimaldo has played as a holding mid for alonso too.
I think they cant be wingers because they have to do sprints. Wing vacks want to build up play or come rushing from behind

Victor Moses at Chelsea too. Had a ripper season at wing back

Yes i actually agree with this.
They are in a position with less defensive resp than a left back and in comparison to a winger, they have less acceleration and dribbling skills needed as they need to come from the back into open spaces for crosses or combo plays, or be the odd man out for a finish or being a pass alternative.
So they have a lot more freedom and need to be smarter and not so much as fast or as competent on 1v1 as a winger needs to be.

IMO that makes it more difficualt. Inter is playing for the funsies while teams battling for relegation will throw everything at them

The two relegation teams they're facing are all fighting for their lives, they're tied with the one team thats just outside of the drop zone. Still, mid-90s points tally is very good for Inter this season after all i said and done.
Rip no more Amorim it looks like for us. Looking at Arne Slot now??? Klopp why couldn't you have stayed for one more season TT.TT

lol. Of course they will focus on that time. The decade after has been a colossal train wreck.

Mauricio Pochettino has challenged Chelsea to prove that they are not “Cole Palmer Football Club” should they have to take on Arsenal on Tuesday without their player of the season.
Palmer, who has been Chelsea’s main source of goals and creativity since joining from Manchester City last September, is a doubt for the trip to the Emirates Stadium because of illness. But instead of worrying about whether his young side are capable of beating Arsenal without their best forward, Pochettino wants the rest of his players to show that they are not dependent on the 21-year-old.
Whoops

Ødegaard was fantastic, too. Both his assists are of the absolute highest order.
Tbh I think he's been Norway's top player this season.
