broodwar48tricks 3 Posts February 29 2024 23:53 GMT #9068 hello everyone, I'm looking for a specific video I saw years ago that I cannot find now, I'm hoping someone can help me find it. It was a guide video for a TvZ strategy that I believe was called "Golionics" - (i cannot find ANY info on this strategy now, so if you have any please link it). The intent of the strategy was to attack the zerg relatively early (I'm not sure of the exact timing) with a mix of marines and goliaths. I'm not sure who it was that made the guide, but it looked very similar to the guides that HiyA has made, where they talk you through the guide and have a camera at bottom right (i think it was Not in English). the specific video I remember had terran start in bottom left and zerg top right, and when he went to attack, he broke through a wall of sunken colonies. p.s. i am not new to BW, but i am new to this site. if there is somewhere else to post this where it will get attention please say so. thank you.

I was able to find a page on Namu Wiki on "late bionics" which is also referred to as "golionics" which they say was made by Lee Young-ho. I found this video where the game extends to where the terran produces tanks and vessels, i think that was because the zerg was able to mess the build up earlier. Fortunately, im now 99% sure the guide im looking for was made by HiyA.

broodwar48tricks 3 Posts March 01 2024 21:54 GMT #9072 Thank you for narrowing down the years, I honestly wasn't sure except that it was >4 years ago. The replay is very cool, thanks for sharing. If i cant find the guide, replays are next-best thing. I hope the guide vid is alive somewhere out there. I'd maybe like to set something up to help preserve these videos that are currently available for the future.

"Upload to imgur failed". Anyone else?) I know TD maps are fun and all, but what is so good about this one that they play it for hours and hours? Seems pretty boring to just place hydras, goons and ghosts in the same spot all the time.

DiMiaN Finland295 Posts March 19 2024 18:22 GMT #9080 I was addicted to that UMS map until I finally beat it. The older version that they are playing is harder than the newer version. Its just about 100% luck and if you get a good special unit in the beginning you go far. Goons and ghosts are the best units.
