As for Saya, you always dive kick, low hit like 99% of your attacks. I also noticed you were jumpnig in so much vs my shotos and eating tons of shoryus. It gets really east to parry/counter when you always engage me the same way. For some reason I noticed you block high out of wakeup too, like I was always trying overheads, then I just said fuck it and did low forward -> tatsu or low forward -> step kick and it hits like 90% of the time. I found I had the hardest time vs you when we were in the corner and you would just stay on the ground! Hmm what else. Oh sometimes (and I'm guilty of this too) your punishments for my wiffs need work. Like I'll wiff fierce shoryu and eat a strong or a throw when you have 2 meters. I think I'm going to work a bit with Hugo since he's really fun to play. Shotos all play the same so I don't know who else to work on, it'll probably be Alex or Dudley since I find them the most fun.

Brawl isn't so good that I would get a Wii just for Brawl, but I would definitely get Brawl if I had a Wii.

mario galaxy, resident evil 4, legend of zelda twilight princess, both metroid primes are incredible games unfortunately most of the other third party games aren't so great. but if you stick with first/second party games primarily you'll do fine. i dunno who has time to play that many games anyways, certainly not me anymore =/

This game is really worth the attention, and I make this post because its release date is actually aug 16, TODAY. The game has PC and arcade version too (which is great from a doujin fighter). It is a new school 2D fighter, with a tekken-esque combo system (you juggle your opponent standing on the ground while she/he is on the air), good air game and interesting new mind games. worthy tread about Monster on SRK The developer of the game called Shrok, he was one of the devs on Arcana Heart 2. He started making this game as a hobby project. The first playable version was released more than 1 year ago on PC, I think. Shrok updated it regularly with patches. But half a year ago the patching stopped, and shrok introduced this day as the release the date of the brand new, upgraded version of the game. The game has an interesting new school system, which leads to very fun gameplay. The two most interesting feature of the game: ** After choosing your character, you have to choose 1 of the 3 different SHIFTS, these are "monster", "freedom", "tranquility". These are similar to the arcanas in the AH games. For one stock of super meter, you can change your character to this chosen mode for a limited amount of time. All the modes modify the special moves and supers of your character. MONSTER mode usually increases the damage of the specials, increase recovery time and thus leads to enourmous combo damage. FREEDOM mode does the opposite, decresase damage and cut the most of the recovery times and this way it allows you prolonged combos and shows other uses of the originally too slow special moves. TRANQULITY mode... this is the one what you can`t use generalisations on. It radically changes your special moves, sometimes it makes a completely different type of character from the original one! ** The other interesting thing is the Powerbreak system. This can change the momentum of a round very easily! You can earn "monster points" by comboing your opponent or blocking your opponent`s strings. Your score will be the number of hits in a combo or the number of the blocked attacks from your opponent. Your score will get back to zero if: -A new string is blocked. -A new combo has began. -A Powerbreak occurs! Powerbreak will happen if you and your opponent attack the same time and the hitboxes of your attacks collide. In this case, the game timer stops, and the character with less points will be launched to the air, allowing his/her opponent a combo or escaping some situations for a limited amount time, which depends on the point difference. You can use powerbreak against projectiles too! Come on guys, take a look and build a community if you like it. The game will be constantly patched and updated with new contents.
