I really enjoyed Immortals too I didn't finish that game, so maybe I'll pick it up again sometime soon. Haven't played Luigi's Mansion 3; I only played Luigi's Mansion 1 on GameCube, which was awesome. I'll look into it!

I used to swear by physical copies of all my games... until I got the Switch; it's just so much easier to transport games that are already in my device

Very excited for the N64 stuff, and we'll see if Zelda ends up coming out on schedule. But that's gonna be like Elden Ring for me, I know it's gonna be an instant top game, so I'm refusing to count the days until it comes out. When it's done, it's done.

If I do eventually get a PS5, gotta thread both the finance and the global supply needles for that, but I want the disc drive version when I do get one. But that's definitely just my preference, the game cards for the Switch are also tiny, and not really as enjoyable as a nice big cartridge or disc you can look at. I think that's a very smart, patient philosophy to have. I don't want them rushing out TotK, especially since it's going to be compared to BotW.

Nintendo store has a massive amount of stuff on sale. Skyrim is 50% off and I can't justify buying a really old game unless it's a good deal and worth it lol. Anyone have thoughts on Pikman 3? Looks like a beautiful game, but isn't talked about a lot.

I haven't played Pikmin 3 or Skyrim, but just yesterday I played the free demo for Tinykin, and I recommend you check it out. It's basically Pikmin!

Ended up cheesing Galdera with a 1HP Olberic strategy and I'm kinda glad I did because hoo boy, that fight looks like some serious BS. Started Legends Arceus now. With XC3 and FE:Warriors still on the backlog and new pokemon/zelda/octopath/FE games incoming, I'll be busy for the next 2 years it looks like o_o

Finished XBC3... overall I enjoyed the setting and, similar to XBC2, I thought it was a good game. However, while the main characters were way better than 2, the villains were meh and incredibly shallow (even worse than 1) and the story ultimately didn't feel like it had any point. It's like this time they came up with an improved game/game system overall and then realized they had no story or villain. I would still enjoy/recommend it for what it is, but it's gotta come with the caveat of "but don't think hard about/mind the story" which can potentially be worse than 2 where you just had to ignore Sexy Rexy and his harem. It's like for the first 50% of the story they were writing a relatively mature story with mature characters, then just had to reach into their inner shounen spirits and start writing children and idiots again. The last boss fight and its 3 billion cut-scenes and moral/ethics speeches did not help.

Honestly don't care too much about story so your description gets me hyped tbh. XC2 definitely had TOO MUCH cutscenes. Walking up that tree at the end was just cutscene to cutscene, remember getting quite annoyed.
