It isn't as if PL teams can unilaterally cancel matches "just because". But if it's something like "need to guarantee police force is available, and they are all escorting the queen's body" then it's far more reasonable. Policing issues is the only reason games are called off this week, last week was a mutual decision between clubs and FA/Premier league.
There is a 24 hour queue which is over 5 miles (8kms) long right now, that means a lot of police need to be around that area due to sheer volume of people. Add in transport is then under even more stress, it has been announced by London transport that this is there busiest period in history ever and it hosted an Olympics, euro finals for mens and womens, queens jubiliee celebration etc etc.
Why Bayern are holding up a banner when it has not even effected them unless they are all secretly chelsea fans and are sad i have no idea. Literally 0 champions league games were cancelled, just one was moved a day and one Europa league game was postponed and re arranged, which again the only teams to suffer here will be the English ones...yet all the disarray is coming from overseas

regarding the pl all-star game, i reckon a good shout would be to replace the community shield with it; force all 20 teams to provide at least one/two players to avoid roster stacking and managers complaining their players are getting extra unnecessary minutes.

Augsburg almost always take points off Bayern - purely on the reason that they are not scared when they play Bayern
if only the rest of the bundesliga would play like them vs Bayern...

At half time of this game I finally gave up on Son and traded him out for Sterling.
At least I get the points this week?

I'll bet the Bayern Munich fans were absolutely furious about the minute's silence and national anthem before the Premier League games this weekend. I expect more banners about it next week.

The Scottish government should be ensuring they have the numbers of cops they need for these things.

Mathias Pogba has been detained and placed under formal investigation over an alleged plot to extort money from his brother, French international Paul.

I will never understand thing like these: your brother is world famous - just by this you as a brother are also world famous and instead of using this luck to become any kind of content creator and earn hundreds of millions, you rather extort your brother for a few millions?! People like Pogba's brother deserve to be called stupid.

Udinese knocked off Inter and are sitting third in Serie A somehow.
Pogba's brother could just ask him for some money if he needed it that badly. What a moron

It looks like it could be another crazy season in Serie A. I do worry a bit that Napoli will run away once they get Osimhen back though, but we'll see. Napoli has to balance between UCL and domestic stuff while Atalanta and Udinese have got nothing and Lazio seems to be sleepwalking through EL at least for now.
Add the potential in Juventus, Roma, Inter and AC Milan to the mix and you could have a pretty wild season coming up. It feels like everyone will be dropping plenty of points.

For various reasons, we haven’t had a big boy really consolidate and gap the rest of the pack, a Bayern/PSG, Madrid/Barca or increasingly a Man City
Napoli’s new Georgian wizard is some player, and a pretty big rarity in these days. I keep my ear pretty close to the ground and outside of new youth players making debuts I can’t think of the last time a player I’d genuinely never heard of came to a big league and made such a splash.
Napoli do look the best bet, but they remind me a bit of Spurs in that no matter what good shape they get into, making that next step and winning things they struggle to get over the line.
My boys at Inter, I think we can push for CL but I think it’s one season too far for the squad and us being squeezed financially. Lukaku back is a big boost but not enough to offset a fair few windows of squad pruning
Should be a good season anyway despite my pessimism for what Inter can do

So if anyone has followed james Rodríguez a little bit, his decline started with rafa benitez as RM coach, and yes his spoiled child attittude. And then with Zidane as well.
Then he joins everton starts doing good, and benitez arrives to coach, James is relegated again.
James goes to qatar his carreer is done for. Now he gets a little chance at olympyakos greece. The manager gets sacked first game james plays.
Guess who is almost sure to be new manager ?
Yes, Rafa Benítez. Rofl poor James

Ouch.
I love James as a player, although he feels a luxury number 10 in an era where that kind of player is an endangered species
|
i think james is overrated af honestly. he built his entire career off a couple goals at the world cup and hasnt lived up to the hype since.
|
His numbers at real Madrid, Mónaco, and porto dont lie. He is good. But at rm he felt he was at CR level, superstar and acted very spoiled.
We all hated his attittude. For example his numbers at munich werent bad but he didnt want to learn German, and hated the cold and winter. He has the average colombian mentality. They don't believe in discipline.
But rafa benitez did burn him

That's pretty funny but stuff like that should be a red card

Was there some rule on some competitions that if you get stretchered out, you also stay out for a while? I recall players waiting for the stretcher than then refusing it and walking off instead.
