Lately I've been watching more and more Mini's YT channel to the point it's almost the only BW content I consume and I'm getting more and more convinced that I'm witnessing something very special within my BW experience over the years. I would put him at least in my top3 Protoss trips of all time alongside 2011 Jangbi and overall Bisu, even ranking higher than recent year's Snow. The way he is handling PvT and PvZ, turning cheese builds into basically standard play is non stop surprising. Is anyone else watching in shock the skills of this man? For those who haven't seen a single of his latest works I encourage you to do so HERE and share your perspective.
Bisu, Mini and Sky were always my favorite Protoss players. Mini is an artist at PvZ and PvT! His ability to cheese or play standard very well, nonstop aggression, control and decision making is on another level. I always felt nonstop pressure was the best way to play pvt and pvz, as you don’t lose a worker to make a building like Zerg and you don’t lose nearly as much mining time as Terran does making a building. Playing textbook or standard is rather predictable and easy to play against. Applying nonstop pressure denies scouting while scouting and your opponent doesn’t know if you’re all in or simply trading with an eco advantage, which forces them to defend.
Yes, the way he is playing PvT and PvZ is the more aggressive style for Protoss I ever seen. His micro and multitasking is also very very remarkable. I am jumping with joy every time I see him play, I think he is twisting the meta so hard right now is just addictive to watch. I'm wating for God to comeback, I want to see so bad how he would handle this crazy PvT style he is showing

To be honest, no. I been watching almost every upload for the last 2 months or so and there are so many highlight moments that I haven't singled put a particular one in my mind. This VOD have a couple of cool games in it, you can start from here but keep looking and see what you find. That YT channel has almost exclusively the best games of the day for each day, focusing mostly on Mini's games, so there are not boring videos.
This one is definitely worth watching. Mini speedrunning Light, Rush & Sharp in less than 20 minutes. The guy's speed in the early game is second to none.
Mini's early game is on a level of its own and then he's no slouch when it comes to mid late game macro. Really impressive stuff coming from him recently.
The team ladder CK videos have been so funny to watch too because he's like speedrunning ladder while everyone else is more or less normal pacing through the ladder. For those who don't know, ladder CK is like instead of them playing proleague format against each other, the teams of 3/4 set a target combined ELO and they all start around 2000 trying to get to a determined target. Once they start doing this, EVERYONE starts trying to snipe them for their own viewer-fueled missions, and it's downright hilarious.
edit: context for the video: team 1: calm, snow, ruby team 2: ggaemo, mini, midas
everyone starts around 2000 and first team to get combined 7500 wins. Look at the win loss rates in the small box with the scores and see how quickly mini goes. Aw rip this video doesn't have the W/L stats but the second time they did added this view in the second vid + Show Spoiler +
but I agree mini is one of the best performers out there, all his games are entertaining to watch, win or lose, he doesn't tilt like he used to anymore either.
There are artists at the game like Mini and macro bots like Best. I prefer watching his style over a standard, boring, predictable game every single time.

He’s certainly very strategically innovative, and no slouch with execution either.
In general with a more open ecosystem we seem to have seen more rapid development in the overall meta and strategic understanding, with perhaps a slight decline in raw mechanical chops.
I don’t know enough to really ascertain either way, but I’m not sure Mini’s done enough to supplant say, Stork’s achievements. But very difficult to compare such eras!
Regardless I love watching him play and he’s definitely amongst the best if not the best Protoss now, which isn’t a bad title to have.
