So im looking for you guys to help me how do i get the best out of my practice sessions? When do i look for a team? I would love to be pointed in the direction that can lead me to glory, If anyone wants to add me to coach me the basics would be appreciated.
I can't wait to play this game and maybe one day compete, Also what events online and 9ffline is there for this game?

Well, I think the most important thing to realize is that the default game modes in the game are pretty crappy and don't translate well to what the "real" game actually is. Still, you have to learn maps and what each hero does so you have to grind through those game modes and get to playing Hero League (ladder) asap. HL is still not the "real" game but it is good mechanics practice.
To get to experience the game at its fullest i'd recommend joining an amateur league ASAP. Either nexus gaming series or heroes' lounge depending on whether you are in NA or EU.
Also, regarding your online/offline question, offline tourneys are only really a thing if you're in one of the top pro teams in the world. Your best chance is to play in an amateur league.

There is a bunch of great info here in this guide collection to get started.
Also check out Kala's coaching videos and you can submit replays once you learn the game for coaching.
NotParadox also has some great content as well as pro tank player ishb00
Learn the game and getting to a high MMR by playing as much as possible will be prerequisite to looking for a team. Pro teams will be playing this weekend in a major mid season tourney if you want to get a taste of what that is like.

The best tips I can give you from thousands of games since Alpha:
[*]Soak experience. Make sure you don't leave your lane alone. [*]Never leave mid alone in Dragon Shire. [*]Never chase. 99% of the time it's not worth it. This is probably the most important tip. People tunnel vision too much on kills, chase the enemy and get killed instead, or maybe they do get a kill but by chasing they didn't defend the mercenary camp and now the keep is destroyed. [*]Try to play with each hero at least once to see what they do.
You can find practice partnes inside the game by joining the group chats General, LFG, TeamLeague.
Get your mechanics as good as you can first, then look for a team in teamleague or in the forums. There are amateur and semi-amateur leagues you might be able to join already, the most popular are run by Heroes Hype.
