I don't think there is a clear line there outside of even the comedic ones having heavy moments, was more about shows I liked to give an orientation in case you know something similar.

Would prefer if it wasn't based on a shonen jump manga with 100s of chapters (I read the ones I find interesting anyways). Don't mind if it's a bit shonen, but big explosions or 100 hit combos and power fantasy don't really do anything for me anymore. That also ended up being a problem for me with JoJo because I felt that it's lacking in finesse. I really liked Cowboy Bebop and Stein's gate, but f.e. also Code Geass, Gundam Seed S.1, Charlotte (although more the later eps), Angel Beats, Deathnote's first half. So I just like if there's a bit of tragedy mixed in. Don't mind SciFi or fantasy, but don't like it if it's very cliché. Also saw FMA:Brotherhood and thought it was decent and NGE and didn't like it because of it's lack of likeable characters. I don't really understand what you are looking for. Is it really slice of life? Because the animes you listed don't really fit in that category. Here is a list of slice of life genre animes. There are various filters and sorts to help you find either what's popular, what scored high or what's trending now. Some of my recommandations for SoL would include Shirobako and Laid-back camp. For added comedy you could go for Asobi Asobase. Good luck!

I'm thinking of getting some reading material and was interested in this... I read some comments saying its been censored but all I could find was literally like a few slides missing of some naked woman on a boat. Its not that big of a deal? Edit: I think I managed to google the answer.. seems to be like 1-2 pages missing with a softcore scene so no big deal

Mushoku Tensei, if you havent had a chance, really great, best isekai Ive seen. It maintains a delicate trope balance that I think is basically as good as you can get and manages not to be particularly shonen-y. Some of the best characters I've seen too, really thoughtful and well considered from basically all angles.

Space Brothers might be something you’ll enjoy as well.

To answer the question I'm not limited to SoL, but I do enjoy a lot of character interaction and slower pace and a bit of heaviness. ... then you could also watch Odd Taxi (Ranked #33 on MAL btw). I didnt like Beastars and had some prejudices because of the furry style, but it was totally worth it to give it a try. beside that: Watch Fruits Basket!!

Just finished Jujutsu Kaisen and loved it. Thanks a lot for the recommendation. A nice plot and some great characters. Particularly enjoyed the Itadori-Sakuna idea. The coming season(s) should be great. Also tried some other Ifotable productions since I enjoyed Demon Slayer a lot. Tried Tales of Zestiria the X and Fate/Zero but didn't really like them. Think maybe making a series from a computer game is challenging if the viewer doesn't know the game. I love jujutsu kaisen way too much Its quickly becoming one of my favorite shows but mostly because it's so unique. Did you see Bungo stray dogs? It has a similar vibe. It's not about demons, but it does do the same kind of mixing comedy and darker scenes with action/fights

It’s like a crossover of SYD and Nichibros. I’m kinda enjoying it lol

That left a sour taste in my mouth. Otherwise, the rest of this arc is looking to be spectacular all the way. Watched the latest episode at least 4 times already. Just so good.

I hope it focuses on mainly the hero out alone this time, his "friends" just end up abandoning him. Screw them. They didn't abandon him. Ruijerd delivered them home like he promised. Eris wanted to be stronger so Rudeus wasn't carrying the load. Sylphie and Roxy are both looking for him. Only thing I ask for is to tone down the pedophilia and pervertness. I love the VA but hearing his voice in that body and knowing what we know, just bothers me. If this was Gintama, I'd die laughing. This just makes it a little unsettling.

The studio that works on the anime are due to animate the whole series, think it was litterally created to adopt the manga to anime

Not fond of the characters or narration so far. The way random characters explained the setting to the viewer was particularly bad imho. Not a reason to drop it yet though.

It feels like an actual adventure and there's a lot of questions that I would like answers to.

+ Show Spoiler + The lead character design is a DIRECT ripoff of Kirito in Sword Art Online. The character is even given the same coat albeit a different color!
