I just feel that after revealing a significant resemblance to a former Wano samurai, there just isn't any way it would be a random coincidence. He almost certainly is descended from a person who left Wano with Shimutsuki, more specifically Ringo. That doesn't mean 100% he'd be from the royal family. People in Sweden look like Swedes. Wano is Oda Japan analogue. People from Hokkaido, for example, bear pretty strong resemblance to each other.

Did you already forget the Zoro looking dude from the flashbacks? He's also just the right age to be born outside of Wano after Kaido took over. It was only a matter of time before Zoro started conquerors haki usage on page (Kaido's comment on him before was already a hint). Mihawk supposedly could trade with Shanks which uses conq coating for certain. And well the obvious with Rayleigh using it as well (parallels and all that)

I find it a bit daft that you need to have won some sort of genetic lottery to progress further on the Grand Line. Imagine if Zoro didn't have it - the world's best would remain a dream and you could do absolutely nothing about it. Then again I don't recall if it was stated so or if it's something you can just "awaken" somehow. I guess I've become that guy in this thread who chafes against hard work vs. fate, ha.

you can inherit traits from your parents but its not a rule that kids are or arent like their parents, which is how i would assume conquerors haki works. and if people can be introverted but over time change their personality to be extroverted, then maybe likewise you could not qualify to have conquerors haki but later down the road develop the exact traits that puts you in the 0.0001% of the population that develops it? who knows

So yeah, you need a divine blessing during birth to determine if you can make it all the way or not. In that vein a Yonkou regime's longevity makes more sense as it's a ridiculous barrier for upstarts looking to usurp an incumbent.

Same as being a hardworker in the real life is a trait imo. Not everyone can be one Also Sanji!!! Finally! We have been waiting for these scenes since the timeskip!

Also that's 4 characters now that have invisibility powers. Probably more if I really thought about it. I think as time goes on, half the cast will be able to turn invisible.

To boot OP has random powers for everyone, Kuuma can do all kinds of weird shit, Zorro can literally cut anything by now except for Haki apparently and create twisters with his sword and Luffy does whatever the fuck gear 4 is.
