I wish Calgary got in and played Edmonton instead of boring ass Winnipeg. It's ok, the Failmes get their own playoff series against the Canucks today and tomorrow!!! But yeah playoffs have been awesome. Been watching the Bos vs Was series and that thing is unreal, hoping for 7 games, with the Bruins on top!

Ur so lucky! living in sweden i can only catch the games that are on the weekends altough i watch every game recaps. These games seems so intense, 3 out of 3 on OT, pretty insane!

Good start to the playoffs so far.

Oilers and Leafs dominated regular season and both lost first game in playoffs without really scoring despite having the best offensive players in the league. Playoffs is just a completely different beast The best part of playoffs for me is teams adapting to their opponent during the series. Or teams getting frustrated and tilting. That's why imo hockey players don't win the cup. Coaches do. And goalies ;-) Sick playoffs so far!

I wonder how often a team goes -1 in regulation and gets swept. Three straight OT games and including the last one going to 3OT. Those games were crazy tight and the Jets seemed to caplitalize on any Oilers mistake or fortunate bounce whereas the Oilers didn't. A couple fewer bounces and a couple extra mistakes and that's the series. The Jets' gameplan of riding McDavid like a rodeo sheep everytime he was on the ice worked great. He drew zero penalties all series, which is pretty unreal. The NHL likes parity so they can't have the game's stars be allowed to play to their abilities in the playoffs. The subjective nature of NHL officiating is infuriating. It'd be like if the NFL stopped calling pass-interference in the playoffs to the entire game became who could score more effectively on 3 yard running plays... Bummer end to the season, but I like the Jets so I hope they do well.
