i do think he can still do a good job for 1 more year because he clearly doesnt need a lot of game time to make a contribution, but it would have been better if he was young enough to be able to play 40+ games a season

It's also possible (though unlikely) that PSG can miss out on champions league qualification if they shit the bed in the final 3 rounds. Monaco and Lyon are right behind. If they keep having players get sent off as per recent matches they actually might miss out

"The rules are clear. If Juventus is still part of the Super League when it enters next season, it can't participate in Serie A. I would be sorry for the fans but rules are rules and they apply to everyone. I hope this holdout ends soon. They are simple principles, affirmed by the Olympic Charter and then reported by the statutes of national and international federations. They are clear principles, in which the exclusivity of sport management is established. I hope that this dispute can be resolved as soon as possible. We are all a bit tired of this tug-of-war between UEFA and these three clubs. I hope to be able to mediate between Juventus and UEFA. It’s not good for international football, Italian football, Juventus. We have already said that the football association respects the rules. The rules foresee the non-participation in our championship if the principles established by the federation and UEFA are not accepted." Source This comes after Barca, Real Madrid and Juve issued a statement on Saturday afternoon which was essentially a giant fuck you to UEFA and FIFA and a refusal to abandon the super league. Hopefully we see Bayern fall next season!

PSG is for me the only real surprise, looking at their squad and also how they’ve performed in knocking out Barca and Bayern, they really should still have enough to take home Ligue Une, but hey I’m not complaining! Juve have been on the slide after some weird decisions for a while, seeing them dethroned for me isn’t a huge shock but I expected it to be only Conte and Inter’s upward momentum getting in ahead of them, not potentially enough teams to push them out of the European spots! The other great title race in Europe is in Spain, most interesting in years but I mean it’s a Barcelona that was in shambles at the start of the season, and a Real that isn’t vintage either, we saw their relative strength to other elite European teams exposed quite ruthlessly in that CL this year. Feels like those two have to be mismanaged for other teams to be in the race, but hopefully Atletico and Sevilla and others can build on what they’re doing to not require Spain’s big 2 to be below par. Bayern well, here’s hoping others can challenge them next season but as has been the case in seemingly forever they’re making good decisions in freshening up and transitioning, and weakening their rivals in doing so.

I can't see that happening. At least not on paper. IMO they mismanaged the whole Brazzo / Flick disaster, but they've recovered beautifully with signing Nagelsmann
