- some trails, like: https://goo.gl/maps/tbyXwXCmYofoVrgY6 (Camino Del Macoco) - you can do bungee jumping on the BR side. - there's lots of animals, specially coaties, monkeys, lots of birds, toucans, etc. - Some of the birds you showed in your pictures, called Vencejos, can turn on their sides and form an arrow-like shape to go behind the waterfalls and be safe from predators (https://vimeo.com/163196341) - there's a couple of boat rides in more swampy locations where you get to see crocodiles and other cool things - on the brazil side, outside the national park, there's a bird park: https://www.parquedasaves.com.br/en/ - I really liked the boat ride. Kinda touristy, but it's really cool being so close. - there's a little island below the waterfalls full of monkeys, but access can be limited depending on the river conditions. You get better panoramic views on the BR side, but you are closer to the waterfalls on the AR side (more waterfall splash, noise, etc). The AR side is a little more virgin, but the BR side has better accomodations (food, transportation, etc). Each side has a hotel inside the park, so you can stay at night. I know the AR side has train rides along the waterfalls on full moon days. PS: never go to the brazil side on easter, place was incredibly packed! | ||
