I made short videos highlighting high level play from board games. Optionally, I'll add text note if there is anything of interest.
Agricola All Creatures Big & Small
Supply constraint block
+ Show Spoiler +
When I last played her, she was top #17 in the world. One of my rare win against her. Unlike a lot of other board games where 1st turn is rotated amongst the players, in Agricola you if you are 1st or 2nd turn player, you remain that way for the rest of the game unless you pick the 1st turn marker. First in this game is a big advantage. I sacrifice a turn so I can go first. For most of the game, I block her from accessing the feeding trough which caps her supply from growing. It didn't help that she went for an extension build which gives a lot of points but difficult to pull off since the area you work with is much smaller than other builds. Despite that, this was still a close game because while I'm busy "attacking", I'm not spending as much on my own growth.
Patchwork
Perfectly filled board
+ Show Spoiler +
This is a demonstration of a perfectly filled board in Patchwork during a rank match. It is a rare occurrence, but it does happen from time to time when the order of the last few pieces is in sync with the openings of your board. Sometimes getting the 1x1 patches actually ruins your attempt to perfectly fill the board
