One of the characteristics of the “greatest of all time” or champions is that they can sense when they have a tiny advantage and make decisive action to exploit the advantage and completely destroy the opponent off that 1 tiny edge.
Here Flash beats Rush’s first 2 marines 2-0 with superior micro and then the game is over from a couple minutes in, since Flash knows he has an advantage and rallies units until he wins.
Flash is up like 10 supply when they are at 35 supply!!!
This is greatness and also why BW is such a beautiful game, it is so brutal that tiny edges like this can become winning in the hands of the right player.
It was so mind boggling since Rush is supposed to be up there with the best of the best in terms of Terran play, and Flash makes him look like an Easy AI. Doesn't make for a good highlight but damn is it impressive.

excellent mechanics + superior decision making with units

That one you should really watch if you dig some constant action mid-game into late-game nail-biter TvT.
edit: Don't want to ruin the excitement for anyone but, I don't think that the game in the OP is the best example for BW's or Flash's greatness because it happens too easily too early (not saying that you can't see greatness in the early-game per se). Just shows that Flash has great marine micro, and that Rush messed up at one or two points (he just has to pull an SCV to stall for his second marine...). More impressive is Flash's oversight to land the barracks in the choke later.
Winning this very common early marine-fight would set the stage for such a steamroll for most good Terrans, not really deep shit going on here, not sniffing out some "tiny edge" imo. Flash doesn't really have to brilliantly "sense" anything here, the blood is in the water to smell for anyone who watched a few early-game TvTs. Early losses hurt much more than later ones, so naturally Flash will have a big supply advantage quickly.
If Flash macroed up a supply advantage of 10 out of thin air until the 7-8 minute mark with almost equal builds, that I'd find much more impressive (he does it all the time though).
Wow... I believe Rush delayed a marine to build the commander center faster. Flash saw this and went for an attack with a very brief marine advantage and turned it into a win. Incredible.
Flash's micro at his own choke when Rush comes in with 2 vultures is also amazing. I believe Flash starts repairing his vulture when the grenade that would kill it is already in the air flying toward it.

Yeah that’s a good point that was also ridiculous. I thought for sure that vulture was dead. Pretty sure Flash still would have won from there as soon as he got to 4 fact vulture production but that just made it an even bigger beat down.
Goddamn Flash... have some mercy on this poor kid.
This shows the beauty of BW to me, how such a large difference in skill can exist at the top levels and be exhibited in such a clear manner, without worrying about discussions about imbalances.
Thanks for the link JWD! I'm looking forward to more recommended games as I'm getting old and I don't have time to watch every game out there anymore

I think it can definitely be edited with the right storytelling to make it a good highlight. It helps that many of us here are already impressed by it
I checked game carefully. It was not about flash is great, but Rush played bad.
Rush's decision making got him into disaster at opening. Here's what it looked like in-depth: 1. Both players run scvs for scout at the same time. 2. Rush found his opp first (at this point Flash is scared of early rax, because scouting path of Rush's scv was unusual) 3. Rush started to disturb Flash's CC. 4. Considering (2) and (3) Flash forced to make second depot before CC and making standard 2 rines. 5. Flash's scouting scv reach center and sees no ealry all in threats 6. Flash's scv reach Rush's position and sees CC with NO rines. (i believe i know Flash's thought: "what a greediness!") 7. Considering (4) and (6) Flash decides to continue produce rines and throw all units into attack.
Strategically this game was straight forward but I would say that Flash's early game micro was pretty amazing. This reminded me more of a ZvZ than a TvT.
