Hopefully more sponsors jump in and this kind of thing becomes regular once audiences are allowed.

Will the VODs of ASTL eventually be available on AfreecaTV eSports YT channel like it is for SC2 ? Timestamping videos on-the-fly is still a problem with the Afreeca player for linking any specific match and it lags for many of our viewers.

I do not believe there are any plans of uploading the full VODs to YouTube at this time. As far as I know, they are only uploading highlights. Here is the current playlist.

I personally stopped watching after eonzerg's last cast because: - afreeca stream does not work well - I have no idea who half of the players are - the level of play is obviously lower than ASL or other major tournaments - all the "team" stuff is pointless if you can't understand a word of what the players say - I am clueless about pro strategies in 2v2 / 3v3 All of this could be fixed with proper English cast, ideally on YouTube. Tasteless has stated multiple times that he was interested. I don't see any reason it would get less audience than regular ASL, because honestly, the tournament looks great. But as it is, it seems one really needs to be a hardcore fan to enjoy it as a foreigner :-(

Wouldn't Gillette be interested to advertise to foreigners, too ? Are we really so few that it's not worth it ?

I'm guessing this is a sponsorship by Gillette Korea, so yes, they likely don't care about reaching one or two hundred live viewers elsewhere in the world which can't buy their product. Commercially speaking, the foreign audience is unfortunately completely negligible, so your entitled attitude is misguided at best.

First it was ok, then another team internally said that by providing a clean feed it could be interpreted that we violated our contract with Blizzard. That's not to say that Eonzerg/Cruiser0929 are not able to cast over the ASTL. We are just not legally able to provide the clean feed unfortunately. + Show Spoiler + Truthfully it's probably not nearly as big of a deal as they make it seem. They said a similar thing about the ASL once, but then it turned out to be fine. I understand though, that they live in total fear of Blizzard.
