Hello TL, there are many reasons why I would prefer to play in SD graphics in full screen rather than having black bars down the side. For one, my vision is not as good and the 3D graphics are more straining on my eyes than the SD graphics, the game also seems a lot more fluent for me on SD graphics, I enjoy the game a lot more in SD graphics.
I understand that the screen resolution was technically never correct up until they released Remastered, but is there really NO POSSIBLE WAY to play SD graphics in FULL Screen mode? This is extremely frustrating for certain players in my opinion.
I feel a lot more nostalgia and enjoy the game a lot more in SD, but playing with the black bars on the side actually make it a lot more difficult....
Someone please tell me there is a way to play SD in full screen and if not, some Russian hacker please create a program to make it possible. I would pay for this T_T

i play in SD in full screen. this means conserving the 4:3 aspect ratio and playing with black bars at the sides you are talking about streching the 4:3 into 16 : 9 which is not possible anymore because the remastered SD 4:3 "feed" is still a 16 : 9 feed (the black bars are not a result of the game not fitting your monitors resolution but sent by the game itself to keep it 16 : 9)
unless you do some monitor custom screen zoom in / streching magic, you have to live with those black bars.... or you manage to hack the game to make it show SD in 16 : 9 resolution

I think it is time for some Russian to make full screen SD mode possible without the black bars... In all seriousness, I am surprised no one has figured out a way to do this

The UI is 4:3, it simply doesn't fit anything else unless you stretch which distorts shape and mouse sensitivity.
Unless you mean new UI on top of old graphics?

Unless you mean new UI on top of old graphics? The mouse sensitivity was always fine before remastered when it was SD in full screen with distortion, I mean in any way shape or form possible, how would you modify your graphic card settings / monitor resolution so you could force 4:3 resolution so SD would be full screen I guess is the question? (even if the black bars were there but you couldn't see them)
I cannot be the only one who prefers the old graphics.

There's one way I can help him with. It's not going to be same as stretched 16 complete fullscreen, but I still can make that happen.

PLEASE do Scan, It's not only because I enjoy the old way more but because for some reason it is not as straining on the eyes / also the game seems more fluid to me.

It is actually an all in one computer, it is my first experience with one and it has actually been pretty good, it is a Lenovo, I use a program called f.lux which changes the lighting of the monitor as well to have a more HD effect which is healthier for long periods of use on a monitor / staring at computer screen for a long period of time. Not sure what you mean by different panel / damaged colors, I am pretty sure it is fine, the game itself just seems to run better while on SD for me, it may be a placebo effect though lol. I will thanks.

It is possible to make by blizzard, but guess what? Right, they abandoned the game or have so few resources that changing anything like that is a huge pain introducing tons of bugs nobody is willing to fix.
It's not a technical problem adjusting the viewport like they did with remastered graphics. But I would not expect from them anything to be honest. I ran out of steam to complain long time ago. Things they did so far were great compared to what they did to WC3: Reforged, but for such company there's huge potential lost in BW in Korea and worldwide.

Windows 10 actually has that built in now called "Night Light" and it's a bit more resource friendly than f.lux is!
Which Lenovo all-in-one do you have? In the graphics card settings you should be able to force the screen to stretch, but you also want to make sure SC:R is set to be a 4:3 resolution in the video in-game settings.

I have the one with AMD Vega 8 graphics, I cannot seem to find the setting in the control panel of the GPU. GorkyStyle, how did you do this? in the Nvidia control panel?

Translates to : It's easy enough to make a resolution in the visible, say 1024 to768, if the invision card, put in the zoom tab to stretch to the entire screen, start the game, choose (full eran) window .and will be like 1.16.1

GGzerg did you find a solution? can we also know how to do this.
PS: A friend of mine uses an old Eizo monitor and when he puts old graphics on his screen there are no black borders, I think he is on 1280x1024 resolution.

Scan has informed me that it is possible by using the NVIDIA control panel, and stretching it to 4:3 resolution in the settings, it isn't that hard to do actually, although outside of the NVIDIA control panel I am not sure how to do it unless your GPU allows it, mine does not. (Radeon) (Vega 8 Integrated graphics).
